    Hey 👋 I am currently a resident of the USA but I'm from South Africa and I often speak to Americans about the farm attacks and its brutality, I also have a social media page dedicated to educate and hopefully bring awareness and inspire action against this phenomenon, when I speak to anyone here about this topic they are in absolute shock , most don't know about it and I have personally encountered other south Africans here who have openly denied the farm attacks and said its not true its not happening, I am grateful to God in His sovereign providence for any and every measure of grace He gives us to continue this battle , for every voice that speaks up against this evil , for every brave action taken to end this horrific trend and I know ultimately evil will not win , ifact it cannot

When this started, very few people bought into the work Afriforum does, because it did not seem to affect them, and people did not want to believe the brutality. But now, just a few years later, almost everyone here has had a love one affected by this political rhetoric, in some shape way or form. We all now know someone affected, or lived through something and it cannot be kept silent, under the rug, nor denied any longer. We are moving, growing, and this too shall come to and end.

    Absolutely 100% against violent crimes... but I think it would be interesting to see the proportion in which these farm attacks occur relative to other violent crimes around the country in both urban and rural areas and the proportion of attacks in White-owned farms vs Black-owned farms to properly establish if indeed farmers and their farms are being directly targeted and why; also if White farmers in particular are being targeted.

      @@merle-wq9ir but those radio calls from farmers under attack ,even just the press of a handheld panic button, need to be responded to instantly by standby paramilitary government police/soldiers or private security in helicopters just as ,eg.,Netcare get to traffic accidents in minutes in their choppers. Each farm needs to have a code to bring the choppers straight to the farm in question with a Fireforce . Patrolling is good but could take time if the robbers allow a patrol to pass and it is, say,20 kms from the farm when the attack starts and experienced armed rescuers trained to get stuck in are preferable . You can't expect neighbourhood watch to go charging in guns blazing Hit the criminals with violence greater than those murderers display. You could perhaps offer a scheme similar to medical aid societies to fund the choppers and personnel. IMHO.

    All South Africans have horror stories. Walk through my house you will find bullet holes when we were attacked a few years ago. Criminals entered and started shooting took nothing. Last week overheard my mom speaking with her friend they were worrying how lately pensioners are being targeted in our area. My mom is nearly 70. Is crime happening at a disproportionate rate at farms compared to all of South Africa i doubt.

      True as a black South African I'm also deeply concerned about this but it seems we can't get concrete factual reporting on this and sadly it's becoming something that might get ignored while the might be actual people who need help. For me I'm still waiting to get concrete evidence instead of probabilities or blaming songs by Malema. If farm attacks are real we need absolute proof so we can deal with it

    • @francismnyele
      @francismnyele ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@MmetxaRuth-sp7km , whether or not people get killed, it is not right to sing about killing other people. Perhaps we must start singing about killing those who have brought our country to where it is. Those who steal food parcels when poor people are locked down and forcibly prevented from finding food for themselves. Those who steal the monies of the poor and elderly in VBS.
      The songs Malema is singing were composed against the oppressors of the time, perhaps it would be the right thing to turn them against the oppressors of today. Not vulnerable farmers

      @@francismnyele I agree but then. My problem is now the is this farm attacks problem and it's labelled as racially motivated. but it doesn't really state clearly who does this, I mean the various cultural groups in this country,is it the Vendas who are responsible for this and why, is it the Xhosas or it is the Zulus but why would they do that while they have ngonyama trust fund is it coloured people, like I really what to understand at least the smallest detail because South Africa is extremely diverse we might all be black but we have different principles and capabilities and agenda. For instance I'm Zulu if tomorrow South Africa falls apart It won't affect me because as Zulus we already have land through Ngonyama trust fund for us at what point would we want to go kill Boers for what benefit.we don't want revenge we have caused damage as well in Southern Africa during the expansion of the Zulu nation war is war you win some you lose some you move on and we can't judge white people while we have committed the same crimes as well. So this really troubles me because when I look around I dont see anyone who stands to benefit by killing Boers hence I need someone to break down this claim because Vendas are peaceful people,Sothos already have a country Batwana are not violent,Xhosas are deplometic they wouldn't act like this, ok Zulus would but they have nothing to gain so if farm murders are real who stands to benefit. If it's the government the ANC stood a better chance to go to war in 1994 compared to now the death of Chris hani by itself would have been sufficient to start a full scale war.Julius has no capacity at this point maybe if he was President already maybe it would make sense so which race in particular which group is responsible for farm murders.is it the Indians maybe

    Thank you Afriforum. It is good people are being taught how to do things and that training is going to become a necessity in the towns and suburbs as well because the crime is getting out of hand. Yes there are the bad whites but being on the CPF 99% of our reports of robberies and people hurt those doing the crime is black. There needs to come some better thing than just locking a few in jail because just locking them up is not solving the crime issue. It is shocking at how much crime there is not to mention the violence that is used.
