I'm surprised myasthenia gravis was not the 1st in the initial differential despite the short history . All four limbs power 4/5 with diplopia was a dead giveaway
As others have said the differential given was a bit odd. I don't know what stroke or SOL would cause generalised muscle weakness. MG was the obvious main differential given that presentiation

Some patient with thyroid issues presents with periodic paralysis. So it could hv been put as a differential initially
Multiple sclerosis and periodic paralysis could be added as DD
