I can't stop listening to this song...
I don't have a bandcamp or soundcloud, so I'm going to post my thoughts here.
First, the electro part... The slightly offkey piano that Buckland uses in many of his tracks, instead of being a "normal" instrument, gives the whole song a electro swing vibe.
Second... The constant arpeggio is low key aggressive, it just keeps going and spins around and around... Like a mad carousel of life.
On that note (hah!). Coltrane? Huge Giant Steps inspiration, maybe? With the constant shifting chords.
Third. Some of Bucklands songs have been in weirdcore playlists, and one popular contender in that genre is Cyriak, who composed Kitty City, a track I feel has some similarities with this one. I recognise that these are two different producers/composers who may have never heard of each other, but I thought I'd mention it in any case :D

oh, i wasnt thinking jazz at all, but this is really jazzy, isn't it? especially the piano, kinda reminds me of the first piano solo on my favorite things

W song. the synths coming in around 0:57 is probably the best moment in all his singles since thirty (maybe except the breakdowns in solitariat)
