I have this thing where I will never sleep in any bed besides a red one. Even in a survival (or hardcore, if I played it) world. Doesn't matter if there's a thunderstorm, or if there's a hoarde of mobs chasing me, or if I'm nearly dead. My loyalty to the red beds runs too deep. I still haven't broke my streak. Not to brag-
