That is an exquisite Dart, it would be one of, if not the best combination of exterior and interior that I have seen. Well done to the artists who are responsible for this "masterpiece".
I had a 68 GT.. The prior owner had a local speed shop build him a 340 dyno'ed at 425 h.p. Mine had all black interior.. I also had a full console.. It was a good running car.. They are getting rare... Very nice looking GTS...
That 340 could be had with 3 two barrel carbs!...But few people ordered that setup. These cars could definitely keep up with the muscle cars from GM and Ford!...The original 3404bbl was rated at around 290hp...in reality, it was more like 325hp!...What this example has under the hood, is scary to contemplate!
@@curbozerboomer1773That car could not be had with a 3x2 setup in 1968. That became available on 340 engines in 1970 with the T/A Challengers and AAR Cudas. Therefore, no one ordered a 340 6 barrel or 6 pac in 1968 from the factory. You could, however, get that intake and carb setup from a dealer or speedshop after you got the car. Also, these were originally rated at 275 horsepower. The 340 6 barrel or 6 pac in 1970 was rated at 290 horsepower.

Man what a beautiful Dart. Love the color. There is nothing like the sound of a V8. I absolutely love that car.
To find a 68 Dart in this shape is no small feat 😊

Back when the Chrysler Corp made awesome cars
They do now too.
Back in the era, when many cars from the Big Three were awesome!
