It's so crazy you posted this because I've just recently got into D&D. I fell in love with it I have been watching livestreams and hopefully sooner or later I can get into an actual game I'm nervous about it but I want to experience it 🙌🏾
Go for it! It's a great game when you find the right people. Some will discourage you, just be vigilant and find a good party who encourages you! Good luck ❤
I recently started running Decent Into Avernus on Fantasy Grounds and I have 1 new player and they're loving it even though they're a little uncomfortable doing the role playing part.
When I watch these videos I love to pause when you ask questions like: "How to you know Gungeon Rockseeker", and then think of some really weird story. Then press play and see your "response".
That was the quickest adventure ever. My friends and I would spend hours just doing the character sheets. I was a dark elf necromancer if I recall. I really miss those days
Aaaaah, I did a double take when you picked the Folk Hero Fighter as the viewer's character. I played them (her, in my case), when I played D&D for the first time with some friends :D

I am so excited to start my DnD experience! I'm going to have my very first session ever soon with my best friend and the group we made! I've wanted to play for a long time and I couldn't be more happy (or nervous) to become a player and later after a handful of sessions I'd love to DM! Adventure awaits! HUZZAH! (I've already created both my first character and finished working on the huge campaign that I want to DM so hopefully it is actually good!)

This is fantastic. My group are as far from ASMR as you can get. When I run D&D we are so loud it's unreal (that may be partly my fault - I've been told I project like an actor LOUDLY). Oh yes, and the metal dice don't help either. Subbed!

To those of you actually interested in playing D&D with beginners, I have some info for you (All opinions). Lost Mines of Phandelver isn't actually that great of a starting campaign for new players. I'd highly recommend Hoard of the Dragon Queen. Big however on this though!: Lost Mines of Phandelver is an amazing short campaign for beginner dungeon masters, as everything is laid out very neatly in front of you. Anyway, have a good day :D This ASMR video was great, it helped me fall asleep last night so I thought i'd come back and write this comment. :)

I've always wanted to play DnD, but I 1. Know a single person who plays it, and that person is never available, 2. Have my own Dice and know a bit about the game but can never find substantial guides that wont take 2 weeks to read, 3. Can never find an actual group after years of searching but love watching people's experiences with it and 4. Am extremely sad that there's somehow no one near me that plays. I have actually thought about maybe starting a club at my Highschool for people like me who can't find others with similar interests, but then a damn pandemic happened.
Would be pretty cool if you could get some friends do this with you or online with some people and make a asmr video out of it. I really love these videos well done :3
I have many personal sets and a mimic for a dice pouch but yes I very much with a passion agree to a part 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 or as many parts it will take until the campaign is full over

Strahd is a fantastic campaign but takes a lot of work for the DM! Loads of good resources on Reddit to help you out, best of luck!
