@@swasggyswiftnbasic no it doesn’t. LOCA is used to Factory glue digitizer to the LCD/OLED panel.. it’s meant to be permanent, cured with UV it’s permanent and resisten to every chemical. Only way to remove it is with very thin wire and cut the adhesive

Do not do it, you scratch up the protector and… there’s a freaking screen protector glued to your watch that’s damn near impossible to remove without damaging the watch. Or you don’t do this and you scratch your watch but you are at least touching the actual screen and not some cheap protector that’s never gonna come off. If you need a screen protector on your watch just get one that you don’t have to glue. Also with modern iPhones, screen protectors aren’t a necessity anymore… ok maybe back glass protectors with the 15 pro line.

No one ever used protectors on a regular watches. Why even bother to use it on smart watches? The glass is so small, that you have to try really hard to crack it. After using one Apple Watch for 5 years without even thinking of being careful with them they have like 3-4 barely noticeable scratches. I don’t get it, it’s like using tv remote in its plastic bag it came with or leaving protective film on the seats of your new car. I get it with the phones, where the screen is so big, that dropping it may shatter the glass. But with watch, why even bother can someone explain to me? Those watches get obsolete in 3-5 years anyway
Well having personally repaired thousands of Apple watches over the years from all over the world I can definitely say that they break. Some people take great care of them while most breaks are accidents.

It’s not resin, it’s a special liquid optical clear adhesive (LOCA) that doesn’t firm up to be completely hard unlike resins.
