Diane Landrigan hello and thank you. I made this cake when I was a novice, not chilling a crumb coat. I used the first layer of icing to act as a smoothing layer. I now know now this is unnecessary. :) Would love to see a picture when you have made yours.
Wish me luck...Im attempting this for my grandson. IF..and that's a Big IF....it turns out 1/4 as cute as the demo, I'll post a pic. If you check back in a few days and see no picture, you know my version is in the garbage & I went to the local bakery. ( and the Liquor store to drown my ineptness)
@@EyeSeaDoughNuts Hey!!! It turned out pretty good? Not even remotely close to yours, and I don't think practice will help me! You've got a God given talent that blows me away. Thank you so much for the tutorial AND ...for checking in! 💘
Going to attempt this in a few days for my sons birthday. Do I have to use buttercream frosting or will whip cream be ok? No one likes buttercream in my house lol and how much fondant should I get? 1 box? 2?
Could you tell me the size of the cake pan you used and the quantities of mix? This is the best looking Lego brick cake I've come across so far so would be good to be able to replicate it!
Joanna Corless thank you so much :) I will help you in any which way I can. I am away from my kitchen at this moment. But I will have the pan size and recipe for you tomorrow. :D
Hello. I cut the cake down to a 5inch by 10inch rectangle. You will need a pan larger than that. The cutter for the circles is 1.5inch. Would you like the cake recipe?
@@EyeSeaDoughNuts thanks! Don't worry about the cake recipe, once I've decided the size of pan to use I'll figure out how much mix to make :) thanks again!
What size was the paper used to trim the cake? And what size round for the tops? Sorry, I am attempting to make this for my son, and have zero skill! Please help! This is the BEST one I've seen!
Don’t apologise, I welcome questions :) The paper was 5 inches wide and 10 inches long. The cutter is about 1.5 inches in diameter. Thank you for your kind comments. Any further questions please ask. Would love to see your cake once your done :)
Man that was an amazing *BULID*
Samuel Turner oh hello! ;) thanks 🙏

Also, I liked the background music!

This is amazing. How do you make the white and red sheets that you cover the cake with?
This looks so great! I would love to try to make this - any chance you might be able to send the recipe? And the tin dimensions?
You should have made the sound just the music, that shit is weird
Emily Bailey went through a faze. Learn something new and a better way from each video.
2 layers of fondant? That's foul. This video sucks.
