  • Reading with the right soundtrack is worth perfecting into a fine art. Which piece of music will you pick to go with your book? Stop....we've gone and done it for you.
Curling up with a great book and the perfect soundtrack: truly, can you name anything more enjoyable?
But choosing the right piece to accompany your literary experience is fraught with danger. Pick something obtrusive and well-known, and you risk losing focus. Pick something insufficiently active and you may as well not bother. That's why we have curated some sublime pieces of music to accompany some of the very best pieces of literature ever penned.
Listening to these pieces can deliver an “immersive experience” which could pull you into a new or augmented reality, enhancing your book (by making it more engaging or satisfying) via technology. They often use one or more technologies linked together. We do recommend headphones to get the full benefit of these videos.
These are also perfect to use on public transport when you need to block out the distracting sounds around you and provide you with an immersive experience to get the full atmosphere of the book you are reading.

49 minutes....Yes! This is fantastic. Conjuring so many images in my head. I'm literally in Alabama in the 1930's. Not literally but you know what I mean. Even dust storms......thanks for posting.

Love this insight into the (not) so old american south. Still pertinent. Nice sounds, really paints a picture along with Harpers words.

I was looking at two books: Bronte- Agnes Gray and Harper Lee's To kill a mockingbird. I said the music would decide which one I would read first, so here I am.
    Thank you!
