I just got some bad news, and i was having a terrible morning. So I got on youtube to listen to some good music and the first thing I saw was this new amazing open session :D. My day just got a whole lot better.
This is song and practically all of the others on the album are so underrated. Just listen to this. ITS FREAKING AWESOME.
its crazy, my friend Resha showed me them when they only had 3000 views on thier videos and i was like "I Hope they get famous" and now look at em'! They play real music, original music and good music.

Absolutely wonderful music. I'm a 40 somthing year old guy that's been hardcore into music since the early '70s, and you guys are the first "new" band with true substance that i've heard in 10 years. Everyone that likes these guys needs to support them, BUY their music,... don't steal it.
This is the most beautiful thing my ears have had the privilege of listening to. One of their best in-the-open sessions, in my opinion.

They are all really smart, and they were all going to REALLY good schools. I kinda agree with you about how that sort of gives them an advantage. It doesn't necessarily make them better musicians but because their minds are at that level of intelligence I think the results are much higher in anything they do. Don't get me wrong some people just have it naturally and that could be the case for Young The giant as well
Any group that uses Rickenbacker guitars is A-ok in my book. I like their stuff...the mood they set with their musical creations reminds me a little of Bombay Bicycle Club. jmo
