As usual, another beautiful album. Question. When making your base pages, have you ever tried to attach the non folded part UNDER the flaps of the other piece? I’ve never seen it done this way, but I thought it might give a cleaner edge when it looks like one piece of paper instead of two pieces glued together. The folded over part could be covered up when decorating the pages and no one would be the wiser. I have tried it and it doesn’t look bad. What do you think? Can you see any reason why this could, potentially, create a problem down the road? I would love to have your opinion, as I have not created many albums, but this idea just popped into my head while at the hospital waiting room when my daughter was having surgery. I had to have something to keep my hand busy, so I borough a bunch of paper and started working on pages for my next album. Thank you so much for teaching me about this amazing craft. Hi Debbie, I have done it that way on a few occasions and it works great and I agree that it definitely gives a cleaner look. Honestly, I think It's just habit to do it the way I do, a running on autopilot kind of thing. Thank you for reminding me of this option. I think moving forward I'll start implementing it as it really is a great idea!
