I first stepped on Professor Rumbles mats when I was 16 years old. I am now 31 and have learned so much from him over the years. He has been a great mentor in my life and the Rumble Academy is family. I hope to one day receive my black belt from him and continue the story 🥋👊💪
I've had multiple people reach out since the episode was published to tell me how Professor Rumble has changed their lives. What an amazing thing to have said about you by so many people. :) I'm sure you'll get to black belt if you just keep showing up.
@beyondthebeltpod You conducted a good interview. I'm familiar with Bryan's thoughts on the topics you discussed. I've been playing gaming with him for a number of years. He has well formed opinions on his interests and passions. I quite often think I'm getting more out of the conversation than I'm contributing. I've never done Jui Jitsu but have had the chance to hear about Bryans experiences as a student and teacher. I learned even more in your interview. He has a broad knowledge of many martial arts, their philosophies and historys. What comes across is the deep sense of responsibility he feels towards giving his students a solid foundation.
Thank you for your thoughts. It's important to me to really showcase a complete person and Bryan is clearly that. I also find that those of us who have the privilege of teaching jiujitsu often share that deep sense of responsibility for helping people improve their lives through martial arts. I feel very fortunate to have heard Bryan's perspective on it given that he's someone who has been teaching for years.

Great interview. It was interesting and insightful, just as I expected.
Thank you. Bryan is definitely a great story teller.
