The Slim 50 was referring to was a Queens OG his name is Slim Chaz Williams. He died a few years ago. He was looking after 50 on his come-up but after 50 was getting into trouble with some heavy streets dudes. Chaz wiped his hands clean of 50. At the time 50 had a green light on him which ultimately led him getting shot 9 times. 50 saw it as betrayal and was angry with him.

It kills me when lyric videos get the lyrics wrong. “Slim switched sides on me, let niggas ride on me, I thought we was cool, why you want me to die homie?” Slim also known as Chaz is a street legend from Queens that was cool with both 50 Cent and Ja Rule. When that beef started 50 believed Slim switched sides. Second part, “Hommo shot me 3 weeks later he got shot down” Hommo was a friend of Mike Tyson that was contracted to shoot 50. By who and why, I won’t discuss ✌️

Slim was an OG from queens who was the only one who backed 50. During the prime of the Ja beef chaz backed off 50 basically giving everyone from south side queens a permission slip to kill the man

Slim isn't eminem, it's one of 50s closest OGs that gave up on him/ left him. 50 actually recorded over half of the album before even meeting eminem. That's why you'll hardly hear him shoutout dre or eminem in most of the songs.
