Sorry Keymc, I saw Prince in Miami, Florida back in the day. He was at the Orange Bowl and it was amazing. He brought out The Time Band, Shelia E., and more. They turned the Orange Bowl into the Purple Bowl, the field, and the beer was purple. BEST CONCERT EVER!!
Prince was a singularity - musicians of his staggering breadth of talent come along VERY RARELY, and also his incredible production/programming chops - AND on top of all that his business and marketing savvy - He was selling music over the internet before almost anyone. All of that ability in one person? - NO ONE in the history of popular music has been able to do ALL of those things with such mastery.

I fortunately had the experience to witness 6 concerts in the past, and all I can say is AMAZING he will truly be miss. I was at Paris Le Zénith concert hall when the album version was recorded live in his previous "Parade" 1986 tour for the Sign the Times album, and I like to think I can hear myself screaming before the beginning of the song (the loud low tone voice). This Sign the times tour version is even better with Sheila E then Prince at the drums and her cool rap part. And the Duke Ellington's "Take the A train" snippet is the icing on the cake. In this performance, Prince was James Brown, Cab Calloway and his dancers and MJ combined. I'm wondering if he took a stroll on the closest pond or river later that night, His Royal Badness really seemed able to walk on water there.
