LGD is a good team but they cant adapt. they use same meta over and over again, and they're good at it, but once they are countered, they're out of bullets.
its the same problem Virtus Pro had. They are good at playing the meta heroes. But that has made them forget. The heart of Dota is not really about the meta heroes. There's a reason why players have signature heroes. And regardless of meta, it is the team that also knows when to use their signature heroes to win. A pro that owns with his signature hero will own even if his hero in particular sucks at the meta. VP and LGD have forgotten it. You need to know the meta heroes, but never forget where you come from and what you're good with. That's why Liquid won last year, and OG won this year. They are the 2 only teams that adapt to the meta, but know their origins. After all the game has reached the point of balance in which almost all heroes are viable. So picking your signature hero should be part of the meta.
