I learned so much easier doing Lattice math for multiplication and division. It is a real shame we are not allowed in North America to use these methods in school, after all it is about getting the answer correct without a calculator. I struggled with multiplication and division, these methods helped me a lot achieve the same answer as a class mate, just faster and easier. Kudos for this video. Thank you.
Not if you are an atypical learner. For instance, students who are dyslexic and or have dyscalculia may find this method more appealing. Not everyone learn the same way. What may be complicated for you might be very simple for others and vice versa.

This is just a cooler-looking way to do the standard division algorithm. I prefer to use an area model.
