That English pronunciation was darn near flawless
It's always fun to tease Aki about her nose.
And as a long-time Rosetai I can confirm Aki's English pronunciation and comprehension is really good. She mentioned in a stream one time that she had an excellent English teacher in school.
Her English is so cute too, it's a pleasure to hear.

@@ldobehardcore I don't feel that's the case, but if it is, that would be understandable. Coco was a big influence and inspiration in Hololive, her English skills were admired by all of them, maybe the closest they had ever been to someone at that level. Imitation would be a natural way.
It's impressive how good Aki's English is where she can swap to Japanese on the fly.

your right her English is very good and impart im sure she worked hard so she could show her appreciation to the over sea's bros that flocked to support her when she was doubting her self.
She has a weird combination of limited vocabulary but impressively minimal accent. Usually people develop the vocabulary first, and never actually get around to improving their accent :P
@@rich1051414 it's actually not at all weird to have a limited vocab with good accent. That's often the result of either learning from media like movies, talk shows or such or focusing on learning common phrases and words thus allowing you to get a good grip on the accent and on bunch of phrases but then you expand further and you realise you aren't familiar enough with sentence structures or word formation thus it falls apart and you have to start from the beginning again

LMAO, I didn’t know Aki understood English that well
She doesnt show it often and theres not much opportunity to show her ability anyway. She's more comfortable conversing in JP but she does have bouts of English during superchat reading. You have to stay for her superchat readings to catch glimpses of her English ability to know, which.. not many of kaigainiki would stay bcs of the aforementioned language barrier.
Her English is no where near Lui's but she has pretty good basics of the language considering she used to go to school specialising in the language when she was a kid, if im not mistaken.

iirc back in high school or elementary her school has a good English program. that's why she understands basic english and has good pronounciation. it also helps that during her 200K subscribers milestone, she gained a decent overseas following that stuck with her and continues to bully her.😂
