@@mathieu722 apologies, every time someone mentions putting the Chauchat in a game, the first thing that comes up for a feature is making it a jamming simulator. since you are someone that just thinks that the Chauchat is cool and wants it to be a possible addition if the devs can spend time and effort on community requests, that is fine. I also think that a Dieselpunk game could benefit from including Chauchat in it's arsenal.

We never see any, we're just drowning in the same weapons from the US/Russia/Germany in the games for the last decades, as if the rest didn't exist. And no needs to apologies.
@@mathieu722 agreed about most arsenals being limited to just US/Russia/Germany. For one thing, Marauders has the EM2 as well as the french SMG aka MAT 49, which are really cool looking in my opinion.
People from countries that do not have access to guns do not fully understand gun safety but will often be the first to talk about how dangerous they are. FINGER OFF YOUR TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO FIRE! NEVER POINT THE GUN IN AN UNSAFE DIRECTION! ALWAYS TREAT EVERY GUN AS IF IT IS FULLY LOADED AND READY TO FIRE!
if that does happen the arnouries is the first place i'd go, there is bound to be some obscure weapon designed for killing them in the collection somewhere XD
Every time we switch weapons there's an animation for load n locking, doesn't make sense if I've already load n locked the firearm, would be a good change. Unless this has been fixed already. loving the game so far.
1:22 in video, terrible trigger control, BUT this is coming from a major fan of the game. i have a good bit of firearms knowledge , and handling experience , and immediately cringed when i saw that, its an unfolded and not in battery mat49 with its mag well folded so its not like it can feed anyway but that in general is usually a sign of someone who needs more hands on experience and further training and is not me tryingto nitpick dumbstuff. id LOVE TO SEE the dev team for marauders, or at least the ones responsible for firearms be taken to shoot alot of these weapons and take some tactics courses. that more deep and physical understanding of firearms will 100 percent translate into making an already great game better . i cant wait to see where this game is in a years time, keep pressing!
Jon, I love your work and series. They have an STG chambered in 7.62 and a carbine/short barrel AK chambered in 7.62, and the STG has twice the recoil. Please use your polite British candor on them and tell them why that is silly!
Which is interesting, not only because the STG 44(which I assume you mean) fired the 7.92x33K, a round that was...not quite what the 7.62x39 for the AK was, but also that a shorter barrel would likely create more recoil, what with a lower weight. Of course, this would somewhat be mitigated/countered by a longer barrel creating higher speeds as the propellant gases work on the bullet for longer, but THIS in turn is countered by a resistance between bullet and barrel. 7.62x39, 7.9g bullet, 2100 J. 7.92x33K, 8.0g bullet, 1880 J.
Impressive armory. I love your game and what you're doing here, but I think you should think about your display of professionalism when operating a firearm. Even when it's folded, unloaded, there's no round in the chamber and the safety is engaged, don't put your finger in the trigger guard. I'm sure you'll achieve great things! :) P.S. I also have a soft spot for heat shields on guns

paratroopers actually use mg42, at least in spain. A very powerfull mg.
