What’s happening? Basically some 22/23 year old kids from the UK are dropping BOMBS. Some of the most creative, inventive, technically skilled stuff I’ve ever heard. Hellfire is a masterpiece. Edit - that chaotic break down at 4:41, if you keep track of the eighth note, it runs like a metronome right thought that insanity. Amazing stuff.

When they get into their mellow jazz parts, Geordie Greep has such an amazing crooning style to his voice. Listen to the rest of this album and you will be amazed at how they change up genres… especially on their latest album Hellfire.

Bro great react. As for the interpretation, think cult leader and you’ll get the gist of it. Their newest single is perhaps their most accessible, look it up it’s called Welcome a To Hell. Cheers!

Great reaction. They actually covered king crimson’s Moonlight in Vermont! Also Their new album just came out last week, which is a fusion between this album and their first one. I’m gonna suggest their song Welcome To Hell so you can get the vibe

Okay, this track I could hear and understand more influences. It's like a fully updated Primus for the 21st century, mixing super dissonant Squarepusher and a bunch of others.
But then you listen to the chaotic noise of "bmbmbm" and you've accidentally ingested toilet cleaner.
(OH DAMN, I just realized they're the prog rock version of H. Jon Benjamin's "Jazz Daredevil"!!! 😵)

    Genre: I'd say prog/art rock

Something smacks me in the back of the head - something is oddly familiar yet not …. like some mid 90s Beck … second half of Devils Haircut … IDK. really interesting…

If you like chaos you should check out The Mars Volta. Roulette Dares, Goliath, Conjugal Burns just to name a few.

Pure excellence, terrifies the shit out of Americans because they have been bred to appreciate the success of the mediocre. ( Frank Zappa) wise words.

Damn … wish I could have made the live broadcast… I was screaming at the screen KC KC KC .. then you said it. Only KC (IMO) does a way better job at discordant harmonic synchronicity. If you want to rat hole on this theme/genre while ratcheting up a notch (IMO) try this track by Uncle Adrian Belew … th-cam.com/video/WmBOTgeFN-U/w-d-xo.html or this one th-cam.com/video/-i5Qpr1l3PI/w-d-xo.html. Or some John Cage. The track was definitely fun to parse and has earned a few more spins to get (as you said) from WTF to …. Intriguing… 🧐
