- PRESIDENT MUSEVENI COMMENDS GENERAL MUHOOZI FOR JOINING THE ARMY OUT OF PATRIOTISM, AND ALSO THANKS HIM FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION.
PRESIDENT YOWERI MUSEVENI HAS COMMENDED THE CHIEF OF DEFENSE FORCES (CDF) GENERAL MUHOOZI KAINERUGABA FOR JOINING THE ARMY OUT OF PATRIOTISM, A PRINCIPLE THAT HAS ENABLED HIM TO IMPROVE THE WELFARE OF SOLDIERS.
“I WANT TO THANK MUHOOZI BECAUSE HE LISTENED TO ME WHEN I ADVISED HIM TO JOIN THE ARMY. HE WENT TO MILITARY ACADEMIES LIKE SANDHURST AND OTHERS, BUT WHEN HE RETURNED, HE ADDED VALUE TO THE ARMY BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE ARMY FOR PATRIOTISM, NOT A CAREER.
Long live General Muhozi Kainerugaba.May Almighty God grant you many more years to live and serve your country.
My only prayer is for Muhoozi to streamline the Army to be prepared to behave and handle a smooth transition from Museveni to any other leader, without bloodshed in Uganda, I pray. Happy birthday

Just as an opposition leader said that Ugandans have been kind to President Museveni.Yes they are kind to him because of President Museveni's accomplishments which are wrapped in patriotism and strengthen.The same patriotism and strength they will see in his son when he becomes the President of Uganda.An as a result Ugandans will also extend that kindness to him.Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba,being the son of President Museveni had every opportunity not to go for peace-keeping missions.But he will out of patriotism and desire to serve Uganda go for peace-keeping missions where he will see action.
