ignore the negative comments, this change in pace is obviously more lucrative for you guys. seeing different shops is actually interesting, considering the fact that MCU isn't the only boat outfitter in the world.
I have watched all episodes at least two times, sometime three or four times, I love this series! I like that you guys have broaden the numbers of shops you follow, even though I miss the old gang at Marine Customs Unlimited allot. But I don't like that you have skipped many of the "how its done" part in the builds. Now its only like, crappy boat/transome work/bracket/paint/done. where is the tricky fabrications and the explaining for all of us DIY's? I wish for more talk about the anatomy of the hulls, where and why to place the console, tank etc. Still lovin it though! Keep up the good work! Cheers from Sweden!
Wes Lovelace . They’ve never been high end. There made 10 minutes from my house. There all looks. The layouts aren’t great and the fit and finish is what you see here. But there also cheaper than the equivalent size let’s say Sea vee or invincible that are built with higher standards in place.
@@GM-md8hu I know several owners...but after what I saw I'm inclined to agree with you....There is no excuse in a fabrication job that poor....I'm kind of surprised the motors didn't pull free!!
Wes Lovelace I’ve got pics of them testing there new 55 shell with 425 elephant motors on it. Those 1000lb boat anchors are going to probably break something.
Can anyone answer if they actually used the Awlcraft 2000 as the bottom paint? Or is there some other coating they put on after the Awlcraft 2000? Or did they even use Awlcraft 2000 on the bottom? Reason I ask is because Awlgrip literature states that Awlcraft 2000 isn't to be used underwater. At 3:28 they show it being mixed up. I understand it was used in other areas, but what did they use below the waterline?
wait a minute? i all the fuel stored in 2 tanks one in the center and one on the right side ? if that what i aw that boat must be always leaning to one side and beating on one trim tabs a hell of alot just to keep the boat running level
Wow excellent electrical wiring job on that project boat!! just WOW!! 👀👍
I love that Mako. We have two in the family, an '84 20c and a '88 261. Excellent boats.

Those custom painted transoms were awesome. Great idea and great bartwork.

20:21 - She totally missed the opportunity to name her business “faux-teak by monique.”
I’m pretty sure she doesn’t need to advertise..
Damn Yellowfin? WTF is going on with quality control?
Yeah please let me know where I can find a running 261 for 5g thx.
DiGrigs1 the cheapest one I could find was on boat trader for 33,000
Just pay a methhead 5g to steal one for you
"he wanted it to match his YETI coolers". When did coolers become pretentious? no one ever said, hey can you grab me a beer from my COLEMAN cooler.
Love watching on Tv now TH-cam woohoo
I thought YF was a very high end custom manufacturer....That transom job doesn't say much for Quality Control.....How about the rest of the hull!!

Dude lied to his wife about how much he spent on the Mako and had to keep it up on the show. Full build with new 225 yamis $35k

Tabs, man...tabs!
He wont admit it but moving the engines aft on that bracket makes the 261 porpoise badly. And as you can see it runs like garbage
