You could turn the green sprue into a transcendent c’tan for you spruecron army. The c’tan proxys always allow for some artistic freedom as they are just shards of star gods.
Just amazing what you can do with sprues. (Obviously, as a practical matter, a person could use things like styrene sheets for flat panels; this is just a proof of concept you can make THE WHOLE DANG MODEL out of sprues and sprue goo).
Just found your channel, this is pretty sick. I just started building my first army (Lamenters), and wanted to built a Dread afterwards but even my instruction-based one probably won't turn out as good as your fully custom one lmfao
10:42 bahahaha that's great. Reminds me of how Oculus Imperia for a looong time had his Official Twitter Account named Butt Stuff Kaiju. Just makes my inner child giggle a bit.
Hey there! I am certainly inspired by your methods and I have some questions about that ooey gooey spruey stuff. 1- Do you have to dump out the jar and refill it with fresh acetone every once a while? 2- If so, how do you dispose of said acetone? 3- what do you use to roll it out into panels? would you recommend a measured rolling pin? 4- Finally, what other supplies and tools would you recommend when using these methods? I thank you very much for taking your time and reading comments. I want to get back into warhammer stuff and this is how I would like to do it. Thank you!
On the topic of "Why do you spend so much time doing that", if you really like doing something, the fact that you get to spend more time doing it is just a plus! Also, I love your sprue-goo! Think I might try and make some for myself sometime, after figuring out how to use it for my 40k orks. Maybe to make barrels of toxic sludge? Edit: And you asked for ork tips as well in the end! Haha, I was too quick on typing!
I'm excited to see you tackle the Great Unclean One again. Sprue videos are my favorite. I would love to see a giant Squig or Squighog rider made from sprue.
A bit of advice to keep the clear plastic from shattering when you cut it: cover the plastic on both sides with tape. Masking tape is easier to pull off afterwards, but- depending on what effects you want- crysal clear cellophane tape holds better and you can even leave it on after cutting.
I always like seeing people’s methodology when doing stuff. Don’t understand it when people want just the end result. When I saw the fluorescent sprue goo, my brain wanted to make some kind of toxic waste dump/factory for Necromunda.
The sprue goo made from the acrylic (?) template is awesome and could be used to make the fluorescent green bits used for some of the Necron weapons or just lightly brushed on to various things such as scenery "lights" in industrial areas, etc.
Fantastic stuff as always :D You could maybe use the green sprue goo to make some kind of a toxic base or barrels of toxic waste. It would also be cool to see how Deffkoptas made from sprue would turn out.
For the Sproo Goo 2.0, what's nice is you can thicken it by adding more sprue pieces. I keep two of these around, one thick and one thin. The thick is for filling and the thin is for smaller filling and fixing scratches, accidental breaks and the like. Also, if you can save some money by buying TAMIYA 250ml Airbrush Cleaner TAM87089 and refilling your small bottles. It's the same as the Tamiya extra-thin plastic cement so you can refill them for much less.
Love all the videos but these sprue ones are so interesting and creative. I can't wait to see what happens with the green sprue goo in the future. I never would have even thought to try that!
I may end up making some of the Sprue glue 2.0 for filling bigger gaps in my minis. Currently, I just use CA and baking soda, ca gel, or ca gel and baking soda, depending on the gaps
A DeLorean or Ecto 1 could be an awesome project series. Those magazines where you get parts weekly end up costing about £1k. So happy the OGSS is back, and you're pushing boundaries of what can be done. Thank you for the entertainment!!
Love what you do, keep up the fun!!! When you were making the base, I thought it looked like wood planks. How about fantasy furniture? Or a wooden ship? And the thin plastic "fabric" would make really good tents or tarps!!!
Use the green sprue goo to make Wark effects like the effect on a bubble chucker or melting necrons for like accent pieces on platforms or if you want to make a diorama you can use it to make garage on necrons or ork fungus goop🤷
honestly I would love to see if its possible to make something that visually incorporates the chaotic angles and lines of the inner sprue parts in some way. Not sure how you'd go about doing that but I feel like it would be a cool testament to how it was made
Love this sprue vid dude! Nice to see something other than terrain and orks being done with sprues! As for the challenge, what next, how about some Tau? Their aesthetic lends to the angles of sprues?
Thanks for the new video I really enjoy these sprue projects. I have just been making a gundam kit and I wondered if you had thought about doing a sprue version of one.
DIY bases, components, and bits are explicitly tournament legal according to GW, but models must be theirs. Are not arms, heads, torsos, weapons, and legs bits and/or components, though?
your magnetised Sprunaught is amazing love it!! 😍 was thinking, that glowing green sprue goo... if you made a bunch of molds you could cast a bunch of fun stick on eye shapes for your Spruecrons, like Cylon or Kit car from knight rider eyes or skeletal eye sockets or jokey goggley eyes or protruding insectoid spheres you could go to town n randomly add character to the sprucrons or give each unit a specific eye type, eyes cast as a pair n stuck on you only need to dab paint imbetween n keep those peepers bright radioactive green 🎉
Amazing work, as always! Love your videos working with sprues! Please don't stop! You have a lot of nice ideas! Hey, did you work with gunpla sprues? If yes, what do you think about it? Its the same material of warhammer? Better? Worse? Oh, and i loved your Star Wars Orc rider! What about and Dreadnought Orc?
Nice build and the sprue goo 2 brilliant, you should try a little with the green sprue goo and then do the thin type like for the purity seal and see if you can make screens or windows or windshields also the paint was nice but maybe do real lite steel dry brush before the wash just to give it some definition
If u get enough sprues u should do a SprueLord titan, and you could make it a series making each part of the titan a video, and ofc do not forget to Shout "SpueeeeLOOOoordTiiitaaaan!!" every 5 min 😁😁😁
How do matey, How about an Orky Battle-Wagon ? Glad to see how much you are getting on with the hobby. Happy Holidays and hope you have a great New Year. Kind Regards Anwar and Wifey Sit
love the vids...I think you should make a skorpekh destroyer...since it has a large blade that is that neon green color of your new goo...keep up the great work
Please share on social media and with friends and family to help my road to 100k subscribers, many thanks 🙂
With a fine tipped wood burning tool you could scorch in details such as filigree or regalia.
I just got the wildest idea seeing this. Eldar titan tree imps. 😅
The green sprue goo has me hungry for the forbidden sour apple.
Your sculpting skills are getting really good. You'll be making stuff out of greenstuff completely from scratch if this keeps up.
My man's building a grey pile of shame just to use the edge of the sprues oh lord
He should make an ork big mec warboss
My suggestions are:
-ork deathdread
- ruined buildings for kill team
- dawn of war terrain
- chaos knight
Seconded for def dread!
At this point, that is straight up a scratch build. Very nice design skills!
You could turn the green sprue into a transcendent c’tan for you spruecron army. The c’tan proxys always allow for some artistic freedom as they are just shards of star gods.

For a posable Ork model you gotta go Deff Dread.
Personally I'd love to see how you tackle the Helbrute!
I love the sprue goo mark 2 but I also love the blocky aesthetic of the unfilled sprues. I love the recycled vibe
Little dose of trivia: the prototype when the dowel was invented was made from a piece of a sprue.
You should make an sprue miniature competition!
Try a helldrake? :p Great work rly , love it. Keep it up
In honor of the amazing army conversion, please do a Sproot episode making your own Kroot
you call it sprue goo... from the looks of it i call it the forbidden mountain dew
Man I tried this after your sprue necrons videos. You make it look super easy. Incredible work again.
Maybe for your next purity seals you can try crumpling/folding the paper first to try to get that movement to carry over into the plastic.
10:42 bahahaha that's great. Reminds me of how Oculus Imperia for a looong time had his Official Twitter Account named Butt Stuff Kaiju. Just makes my inner child giggle a bit.

Absolutely incredible! What an inspiration, you continually impress me, sir.
Merry Christmas!
Dude you gotta use the greenstuffgoo and regular spruegoo to make a monolith!
You’re the reason I got into Warhammer in 2021! It’s so fun seeing your stuff (:
On the topic of "Why do you spend so much time doing that", if you really like doing something, the fact that you get to spend more time doing it is just a plus!

Make a Transcendant C'Tan out of the glowing green sprue goo.
May i know what is chemical that you use too soften the green plastic?
Acetone
I must say your sprue skills are getting better and better! ❤🎉

When I saw the fluorescent sprue goo, my brain wanted to make some kind of toxic waste dump/factory for Necromunda.
doood. that hand looks bloody brilliant!
Man, the "we have dreadnaught at home" version is ballin'
Cada vez que dice "bueno" en el video, una familia de gatitos explota en mil pedazos y el emperador llora en su trono dorado
The sprue goo made from the acrylic (?) template is awesome and could be used to make the fluorescent green bits used for some of the Necron weapons or just lightly brushed on to various things such as scenery "lights" in industrial areas, etc.
I really enjoyed your ork pirate ship in frame, the one with the kraken around it 😅. Great project for Christmas 🎄
Fantastic stuff as always :D

Sprue Glue #2
I recommend building an Imperial Knight out of sprues, I think that would be awesome
A sprue titan would be a cool very long term project.
It really turned out awesome, really enjoying these videos.
A DeLorean or Ecto 1 could be an awesome project series. Those magazines where you get parts weekly end up costing about £1k. So happy the OGSS is back, and you're pushing boundaries of what can be done. Thank you for the entertainment!!
Ecto 1 with a roof mounted turret, an orc with a proton pack capturing a space marine.
Love what you do, keep up the fun!!!
When you were making the base, I thought it looked like wood planks. How about fantasy furniture? Or a wooden ship?
And the thin plastic "fabric" would make really good tents or tarps!!!
I have mixed in colored sprue from Underworld kits, can confirm they make colorful mixed sprue goo!
Do you recommend mixng sprus? Of different colours? I have yet to prove them. I try to use allways the same.
have you considered making molds for sprue-goo to cast parts from it?
He already done that
@@MrSteelface96 but with the "new and enhanced" spruegoo 2.0 you could ge better details when casting.
SpruLegion
Fantastic idea and work
What about a Tau battlesuit? Terrain road pieces?
Use the green goo for window panes in your other sprue goo made walls.
I love when ideas I start gets brought to fruition
Thoroughly enjoyed it... Please keep them coming
you can just skip to end of video, not showing it upfront is basically skipping to end for most :D great skills as always
Amazing video! so happy to see sprue stuff. That green goo would be great for some nuclear waste or generator terrain
Sprue rhino would be cool
Use the green sprue goo to make Wark effects like the effect on a bubble chucker or melting necrons for like accent pieces on platforms or if you want to make a diorama you can use it to make garage on necrons or ork fungus goop🤷
Can't wait to see more spruce marines.
honestly I would love to see if its possible to make something that visually incorporates the chaotic angles and lines of the inner sprue parts in some way. Not sure how you'd go about doing that but I feel like it would be a cool testament to how it was made
How about a Battlewagon, trucks or a giant squig.
The new goo looks splendid, can you use it in silicone or differend molds for copying textures?
Automatic dubbing made me discover your channel
Love this sprue vid dude! Nice to see something other than terrain and orks being done with sprues! As for the challenge, what next, how about some Tau? Their aesthetic lends to the angles of sprues?
Nuclear vats with the geeen stuff spilling out
I love anything that you do, and for the challenge you can make a Ork Knight, that would be awesome!!!
Thanks for the new video I really enjoy these sprue projects. I have just been making a gundam kit and I wondered if you had thought about doing a sprue version of one.
I realized it was you when you started talking about ewy gooey spruey stuff.
i wonder coud you play at a tournament with this? because its all gw i think thex must allow you?
DIY bases, components, and bits are explicitly tournament legal according to GW, but models must be theirs. Are not arms, heads, torsos, weapons, and legs bits and/or components, though?
For magnetized legs maybe something like a knight that’s taken by orks
This is wonderfully done maby swap the Mk-Pencil-head-helm with a existing extra helm and I wouldn't tell it's not something oldhammery
your magnetised Sprunaught is amazing love it!! 😍 was thinking, that glowing green sprue goo... if you made a bunch of molds you could cast a bunch of fun stick on eye shapes for your Spruecrons, like Cylon or Kit car from knight rider eyes or skeletal eye sockets or jokey goggley eyes or protruding insectoid spheres you could go to town n randomly add character to the sprucrons or give each unit a specific eye type, eyes cast as a pair n stuck on you only need to dab paint imbetween n keep those peepers bright radioactive green 🎉
love your creativity! great videos :) thanks!
Necron Monolith? That would be amazing out of sprus, I’m sure you could make it look super interesting especially with the green stuff you’ve melted
How do we get this man a Nobel Peace Prize? No I am not joking. This man is straight from heaven.
The sprue panels look a bit like wood planks. It'd be cool for steampunk builds.
Great job, love your creativity.
Great video, and Sprork grots or sprue demons would be cool! I also think some sprue made terrain could add a lot to the base
27:00 finally a way to give space marines some togas
Amazing work, as always!
Love your videos working with sprues! Please don't stop!
You have a lot of nice ideas!
Hey, did you work with gunpla sprues? If yes, what do you think about it? Its the same material of warhammer? Better? Worse?
Oh, and i loved your Star Wars Orc rider! What about and Dreadnought Orc?
On the green sprue goo; can that also be made into sprue goo 2.0? Could be useful for making thin energy for Necrons.
Awesome build, awesome video!
Справді гарна робота. Дякую за чудовий контент.
Even when spruces I still serve
Nice build and the sprue goo 2 brilliant, you should try a little with the green sprue goo and then do the thin type like for the purity seal and see if you can make screens or windows or windshields also the paint was nice but maybe do real lite steel dry brush before the wash just to give it some definition
Amazing work. How about a thunderhawk gunship 😆
Hilarious! I love this. Nice Dread mate. ❤👍
Love these sprue video's ❤❤❤
This is stupid... I absolutley love it!
You need to make slimer with the green to go with your orc ghostbusters
If dissolved sprues are sprue goo mark 2, what's sprue goo mark 1? 21:10 thicker stuff. Different solvent or more sprue?
sprue goo mk1 is sprue in acetone, mk2 is sprue in liquid plastic cement
Great work! So let‘s make a Thunderhawk Gunship next. It is blocky anyway. 😁
If u get enough sprues u should do a SprueLord titan, and you could make it a series making each part of the titan a video, and ofc do not forget to Shout "SpueeeeLOOOoordTiiitaaaan!!" every 5 min 😁😁😁
Imagine making Ork stuff with what you do.
How do matey, How about an Orky Battle-Wagon ? Glad to see how much you are getting on with the hobby. Happy Holidays and hope you have a great New Year. Kind Regards Anwar and Wifey Sit
WOW! Using one of those irritating fidget toys as a palette is bloody genius!
if sprue goo mark 2 is made with glue, does that make it sprue glue?
Wonder if that cement sprue glue would smooth some FDP pla prints.
Great job and A+ for your creativity
love the vids...I think you should make a skorpekh destroyer...since it has a large blade that is that neon green color of your new goo...keep up the great work
Green sprugop energy shields, hg bloob from Fururama with a model in him lol
❤️👍happy holidays bro 🔥🤘
I just found this channel. Great work.
