This is the most helpful, teachable video that I think I can use as part of my own instructional strategy. I teach college English, and I have been researching and testing ways to make English more practical. I like the idea of laying a task at the different desks and students moving about to complete that task. English is so "Little House on the Prairie," i.e., pouring knowledge in, and as a discipline, it needs a little more practicality beyond just writing. I am mainly concerned because I also teach dual credit at the high schools, and it has its own challenges. But I will review your videos again because I think they provide a lot of insight for what I might do with English. Thank you. New subscriber.

I am glad you were able to find value in this video!! It is amazing how many ideas you can get from other subjects. I love having my kids move around during a review. It keeps them moving through the problems and it keeps them engaged. I will also post problems on the walls around the room and have kids work standing up, rotating through the question sets. They will use a clipboard or binder to write on. For some reason, they have better discussion standing than they do sitting while working on the same questions. I wish you the best this school year!!!
