He represented China as a young cultural diplomat around the world. - At 12 y.o he's Chinese Ambassador at Musical Summit in Buenos Aires in 2014 (an international multicultural show created by Elkin) where he sang "The Dragon's Romance", a song written in Spanish by Elkin especially for Chenle. - At age 13 he performed in International Children Concert where he met Jisung. A fate lol - At age 14 he already had a solo concert, had other ambassador activities, held several fansign events, and had a long list of portfolio in performing and acting.
I love watching Lachie fall for more NCT members. My favorite thing about the Dreamies is that they’ve been together as a group for so long that they do not hesitate to throw hands or make fun of each other. Fun fact, Kun actually lived in the Dream dorm for a bit, so they are all very close! ❤️

Watching them grow over the years, whether physically, musically or popularity wise just warms my dark lil heart. NCT is my comfort group, my home away from home and since the beginning of 2020 a lot more reactors and people in general have been getting to know them more and it makes me beyond happy because they’re some of the most hardworking men and they’re finally getting the recognition and love they deserve 🤧
NCT Dream is the superior unit and the well-loved unit of NCT. It is no secret that everyone in Dreamies are being babied by 127 & WayV. NCT Dream once had an admission-graduation system wherein when they became adult (20 years old in Korea), they will graduate from the unit and Mark is the first to graduate on 2018. NCT Dream then continue with their promotions and comebacks with 6 members. On 2019, 4 members (Jeno, Jaemin, Haechan & Renjun) who are born in 2000 didn't ended up graduating in NCT Dream because it would leave Dream a 2 member group (Jisung & Chenle who are born in 2001 & 2002). So in 2020, SM made an official statement that they will remove the admission-graduation system on Dream and Mark, the graduated member will be back again and Dream will be a fixed 7 member unit and they will function as a rotational unit also like they can have comebacks with 2 members only, 3 members. Also some information about their concepts, because they debuted young (their eldest was just 17 & the youngest was just 14 at that time) SM assigned an age appropriate concept for them which is fresh and bubbly at the same time wherein kids and youngsters within their age can enjoy the song. After 2 years, NCT came back with full length album NCT 2018 EMPATHY featuring all 18 members (at that time) and NCT Dream released Go and it marked the changes from NCT Dream to youngsters to teenage rebels lol. After they released Go, they continued to release music with more mature concept and style. NCT 127 is like the mild and chill unit. NCT Dream are the funniest and WayV is the chaotic unit hahaha

I’ve been waiting for this 😍 I know that you’re familiar with the non graduation thing now and I just wanted to add that dream doesn’t really have the “cute” concepts anymore. Since “Go” in 2018 their songs have been more mature just in case you didn’t already know that. I’m really looking forward to a NCT 127 guide because Haechan and Mark are there too and Haechan is my ult bias in NCT and he’s one of the most loved members of NCT by the fans and also by the other members as well. He’s the sunshine and mood maker of the whole team and they even said it themselves. On top he’s such a good vocalist, despite his unique voice he’s also very stable singing live or just casually and a really amazing dancer and performer too and as you could see already he’s an entertainer/variety king that’s why he’s often chosen as the MC in their reality shows and stuff like that. ☺️ I’m really sorry for fangirling like that but I just think everyone should know that he’s so versatile and an absolute allrounder 😅

Now Dream are all adults (T-T) they grew up so fast. Anyway, even back then, even if Dream aimed a younger audience, they also aimed older people (older than them) but with the objective to make them reminisce their younger days etc. (They said it themselves btw). Dreamies have actually a lot of older fans (compared what some international fans or new fans might think at first). It would be nice to watch the 2nd guide because this one was made nearly 2 years ago... there was a lot of changes. Btw only Mark graduated, the 00-line never graduated from Dream, they just get rid of that system all together (and it's the best that way). Edit: NCT DREAM discography... is actually my favourite among all NCT unit and I am like... older than them (10 years older). They have a great discography! Also Dream's bond... is one of a kind really. They are a group that really feels like a family/group/unit in everything they do. They are really funny too. One their youtube channel, they have some hilarious content like the rooftop fight in 3 parts (aka Dream celebrating Jisung becoming an adult). It's a different kind of chaos compared to WayV but still a nice chaos to watch!
Please react to Jisung's coming of age ceremony that the Dreamies did. They had a story/longstanding agreement that once Jisung becomes of age they would have a fight on a rooftop wearing suits while it rains - like old school mafia/martial arts films 😂 The idea was that they would basically get their frustrations out with each other then since they grew up together so they have a great bond but probably irritated the crap out of each other as well. So they 'organised the fight' (part 1)and had a ceremony and games (parts 2 & 3) - you will love them more! It's just so typically Dream 😊 100% on brand for them!
Yes! Another older Dreamzen! ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧ I was 25 International age when they debuted and love their discography most! It's just so happy and magical! 💚 I agree that it's odd that most International fans think it's kids music when if you look at fansigns and concerts in Korea the age range is about the same for other units and they most often say Noona because they know their fan demographic (=^▽^=)

Mark and Haechan actually debuted twice in 2016. they didn't "transfer" to NCT 127 after NCT Dream. They debuted on NCT 127 first then NCT Dream both in the same year, which is why they've had many overlapping schedules for both units. Aces.
Next to EXO, NCT dream would be my favorites🥺 well NCT in general, but my favorite subunit is NCT dream. Btw I don’t think any nct guides have done Jaemin justice. But the only thing i can say about this guy is that he is literal embodiment of love. It’s not an exaggeration. It’s rare to see someone as kind as him. Also as for Dream being catered towards a more younger audience - not necessarily. The thing is that they themselves were incredibly young when they debuted, hence why their sound was as well. Since then, as you will see on your journey, they've grown up right in front of our eyes and although they're still the 'youngest team' (and will always be our babies) - their sound has matured with them and will continue to do so now that they are a set, fixed unit of 7. They've shown that with comebacks/songs such as "Go" "Boom" "Ridin'" and "Deja Vu" - their discographies are very diverse and albeit the fact that they've only released mini albums so far, quality wise, their music is incredible. A few of the dreamies actually also have writing credits on some of their songs. you'll also have a blast watching them on variety shows - they don't hold back at all and tend to make up their own rules a lot, which is just hilarious, to say the least. NCT Life (Dream in Wonderland) would be another series you could check out to get to know them a bit more, though Haechan and Mark didn't participate due to conflicting schedules. some of the positions mentioned in this guide are a bit outdates, but you'll figure that out in the second guide.
one more thing, both chenle and renjun are very close with wayv and back when they still had their graduation concept - there were strong rumours of them eventually joining wayv, which obviously never happened bc they are now a fixed unit. despite that, they're very close with them and both kun and ten actually lived with the dreamies for a while. also, yangyang has said that renjun is actually his best friend in all of nct/general and as you noticed, renjun mentioned winwin when he was talking about the members helping him/being there for him.

I hope you can also get around to watching NCT's "It's Awkward but it's Okay" series, where they pair up members that are (as the title suggests) slightly awkward and unfamiliar with each other still and have another duo (behind the scenes) make them do little challenges etc., to try and make it even more awkward (lol). It's hilarious. There's been a few duo's so far!
It's funny looking back at a guide from early 2019 and noticing how much they've all changed and matured. Still hilarious and crackpots, but more laidback and free with it now. Jaemin in particular got ... so. much. weirder. Chenle started giving a lot less fucks, and he didn't give many to begin with. If you haven't looked at it yet, I really recommend their track Deja Vu that was in the Resonance comeback; it was one of my favourite tracks from anyone in 2020!
They did graduate Mark from dream, but we annoyed them so much asking them to bring him back and make it a fixed unit (meaning no one will graduate anymore) that they actually did! 🥳🥳

NCT Dream is now like NCT U, so Mark returned to NCT Dream and the other members never graduated. Mark graduated in 2018, so all the members borned in 2000 (Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin and Haechan) would have graduated in 2019, Chenle in 2020 and Jisung in 2021. So if they really did graduate as for now, we wouldn't have any members in NCT Dream, as the new members, Shotaro (2000) and Sungchan (2001), are already +20. Fun fact : Mark graduated high school in 2018, the same year he graduated NCT Dream.

Since then, as you will see on your journey, they've grown up right in front of our eyes and although they're still the 'youngest team' (and will always be our babies) - their sound has matured with them and will continue to do so now that they are a set, fixed unit of 7. They've shown that with comebacks/songs such as "Go" "Boom" "Ridin'" and "Deja Vu" - their discographies are very diverse and albeit the fact that they've only released mini albums so far, quality wise, their music is incredible. A few of the dreamies actually also have writing credits on some of their songs.
you'll also have a blast watching them on variety shows - they don't hold back at all and tend to make up their own rules a lot, which is just hilarious, to say the least. NCT Life (Dream in Wonderland) would be another series you could check out to get to know them a bit more, though Haechan and Mark didn't participate due to conflicting schedules.
some of the positions mentioned in this guide are a bit outdates, but you'll figure that out in the second guide.
one more thing, both chenle and renjun are very close with wayv and back when they still had their graduation concept - there were strong rumours of them eventually joining wayv, which obviously never happened bc they are now a fixed unit. despite that, they're very close with them and both kun and ten actually lived with the dreamies for a while. also, yangyang has said that renjun is actually his best friend in all of nct/general and as you noticed, renjun mentioned winwin when he was talking about the members helping him/being there for him.

I hope you can also get around to watching NCT's "It's Awkward but it's Okay" series, where they pair up members that are (as the title suggests) slightly awkward and unfamiliar with each other still and have another duo (behind the scenes) make them do little challenges etc., to try and make it even more awkward (lol). It's hilarious. There's been a few duo's so far!

It's funny looking back at a guide from early 2019 and noticing how much they've all changed and matured. Still hilarious and crackpots, but more laidback and free with it now. Jaemin in particular got ... so. much. weirder. Chenle started giving a lot less fucks, and he didn't give many to begin with.
If you haven't looked at it yet, I really recommend their track Deja Vu that was in the Resonance comeback; it was one of my favourite tracks from anyone in 2020!

NCT Dream is now like NCT U, so Mark returned to NCT Dream and the other members never graduated. Mark graduated in 2018, so all the members borned in 2000 (Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin and Haechan) would have graduated in 2019, Chenle in 2020 and Jisung in 2021. So if they really did graduate as for now, we wouldn't have any members in NCT Dream, as the new members, Shotaro (2000) and Sungchan (2001), are already +20.
Fun fact : Mark graduated high school in 2018, the same year he graduated NCT Dream.
