As with any plant, it does need water, the fiddle leaf fig just prefers to dry out slightly between each watering. It won’t be very happy if it never gets any water to it’s roots.

Hey Maggie! I just started with plants of my own to take care of this summer! Since you love white flowers and the mix of green you could consider getting a peace lily! They bloom white flowers in season and are also very low maintenance :) hope this helps

You should get an air fryer! I love crispy brussel sprouts and veggies in general and they are perfect in the air fryer and so easy!
How long do you usually put your veggies in the airfryer for ?? I have one but we dont have the instructions anymore and i get so lost sometimes with timing lol

I’m pretty sure that plant is a fiddle leaf fig (ficus lyrata)! If so, they love humidity so the misting is a great addition, but they still need water at the root! Just water when the top two inches of soil are dry. The spots look like inconsistent watering to me, but it’s a bit hard to tell at the distance the camera was. Fiddle’s can be hard to take care of because they are finicky, so I would definitely look up more tips!

You shouldn't mist plants.Misting plants only allow the plant's air to be humid for around 5 seconds and after that the plant is left wet, which could worsen the spots. The spots are due from infrequent waterings. You should create a schedule in order to keep the fiddle leaf fig's leafs happy if that spotting is a concern for you. However, when the leaves grow the spots pretty much go away.

Hey Maggie ! I have two fiddle leaf plants ... i suggest watching some videos on caring for them. I’m almost positive you are NOT suppose to spray them with water. Just water the soil as normal when the soil is completely dry. And to care for the leaves just wipe it down with a damp cloth when it gets dusty... they’re fun plants to have but very dramatic at times ! Whitney Simmons has a great video on it ! Enjoy 😊

love the olive tree! I hope to get one once I live in a place with ample light since they are so finicky like the fiddle leaf and need lots of sun! I also found the olives dry out quite quickly, at least the little ones that they sell at the store I work- such a gorgeous apartment lady!

Maggie - i would highly reccomend buying a toaster oven to roast anything.... it saves you from turning on ur oven and in return saves on bills..... especially since you are just cooking for yourself, a toasted oven would come in handy :) and it cooks ur good faster !!

You should watch Whitney Simmons plant video about taking care of fiddle leaf fig trees. They are extremely difficult plants to care for. And you do need to water them. Not just spraying leaves. You do need to wipe the leaves clean for sure. But they are some of the most fickle and tough plants to care for.
Maggie I am the same way when it comes to having a glass of wine! I always put so much pressure on myself when it comes to having a drink and tell myself it needs to only be on Friday’s or Saturday’s. It’s such a weird feeling but I can really relate to you on that!
