Tough Call 5: AEK vs Tofas Bursa - Goaltending

In the last minute of the 4th quarter, Yellow 2 makes a lay-up and Blue 21 blocks the shot. The referees call a goaltending violation and then decide to check the IRS.
Article 31.2.1: goaltending occurs during a shot for goal when a player touches the ball while it is completely above the level of the ring and:
It is on its downward flight to the basket, orAfter it has touched the backboard
F.3.2: The following game situations may be reviewed when the game clock shows 2:00 minutes or less in the fourth quarter and in each overtime:
whether a goaltending or basket interference violation was called correctly.
Outcome: Regarding the decision, correct decision from the referees. Blue 21 touched the ball before the ball touched the backboard, so no goaltending violation occurred.
How shall the game be resumed then?
F.3.2: When the review determines that a goaltending or basket interference violation was not called correctly the game shall be resumed as follows, if after the call:
- Neither team has gained an immediate and clear control of the ball, a jump
ball situation occurs.
Outcome: When the referees called the violation, the Blue team had not gained an immediate and clear control of the ball, so a jump ball situation occurred. The alternating possession arrow favoured the Yellow team, so the Yellow team was awarded a throw-in. The game clock should have been reset to 47.0 and the shot clock to 15 seconds as this was the moment when the “violation” was committed.

The follow-up decision was jump possession because the referee blew the whistle while nobody was in control of the ball (before the blue rebound). The goaltending was overruled so they needed to continue the game as previously stopped with the team in control but there wasn't any control during the 2-pt attempt. Therefore they needed to give the ball to yellow team (-> the possession arrow team)
