The 2nd Book of Esdras in the 1611 King James Apocrypha is said to have been written by the scribe Ezra in the Old Testament. They are one and the same. In various passages of 2nd Esdras (Ezra), it seems to speak about the start of the final 7 Years of Tribulation known as Daniel's 70th Week and Jacob's Trouble, and it begins with a trumpet from heaven.
