Hey guys! Today I wanted to do an updated keep only 10 perfumes and I highly recommend all of these to those of you who are just starting out and not sure what to look for, or what perfumes will be the biggest compliment getters, the most enjoyable to wear, and the most luxurious smelling. I’m wearing Cheirosa ’62 today layered on top of the new Tropical Nights spray by Sol de Janeiro. Not gonna lie…I smell incredible! I’m also wearing white pants, looking Florida-ready. I live in Oregon and it’s raining outside. 🤣🤣🤣

@@brianda5793 it smells like summer cherosa 62 is like that summer scent everyone loves but not like sunscreen it’s stunning also the tropical nights spray is said to be a darker more sexy sol de janeiro scent it has tonka bean in it I haven’t smelt it myself but I really want to get my hands on the 3 minis that have just been released but u won’t regret buying the perfume trust me

Peony and Blush Suede is one of the safest blind buys on planet Earth. If you are buying a fragrance for a co-worker you especially like, your brother's partner, your friend's sister etc, this is a really great go to. I don't generally enjoy Jo Malone's output and like her JoLoves range even less (aside from the heavenly Beaumont candle), but this one is a highly wearable fresh-out-of-the-shower every day fragrance. Glad you included it here, it mysteriously gets overlooked in 'frag comm'.
Love it! I had Mon Guerlain, Cheirosa 62 (the body spray), Flowerbomb, Peony & Blush Suede... and it's in the top of my list bring them back to my collection as soon as posible. We'll arrive to Canadá next friday. I'm so excited! BTW, I followed your recommendation and I already have Attrapé Revés🙌🏻
Always so excited to see a video from you 🤗 I can't really choose a top 10 bc I need to explore my options a bit more and really trying to figure out what works for me. Thank you for helping me expand my scent profile! I was all woodsy, spice, almost masculine. Still love those notes...Black Opium original and intense; CoCo Chanel; Tom Ford Black Opium; Flowebomb Midnight; Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka and a recent purchase Peele's De Lalique.. ..wow she's alot 😆 the dark scents~

I will always love Bath & Body works body sprays when they are appropriate! Especially vanilla confetti sparkle which reminds me of Sol de Janeiro 71 (and on sale right now)

I knew it! Sdjc62 does smell like gold couture. I haven't heard anyone else say this. Thank you I thought my nose was broken. 😉
I love love love Si Intense, it’s on my favorites for life. I felt just as you that it’s more appropriate for colder months but the other day I pulled it out later in the day and honestly it works. I get more of the fruity aspect in the heat and it’s lovely. Super intoxicating 😍
I personally prefer wearing it in warmer weather for this very reason that strawberry 🍓 nice smell 😋
Great choices thanks for sharing 😌. I love Coco Mademoiselle and Lelia by Gier Ness. Three others I like a lot are YSL Libre, Tom Ford Soliel Blanc, and D&G Light Blue Intense. I'm trying out Nest Golden Nectar and like that one as well.

The only three on this list I own are Florabotanica, Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT, and I have Armani Sì in a sample size. I have a large perfume collection and get the MOST compliments on Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT! Do you have the EDT or EDP?
I've been wearing Tabu for 50 years. It will always be my favorite and yes you can still buy it. I'm in my 70s. I believe it was created in the 20s or 30s.
@@XDominiqueXFranconX i prefer the Eros EDT over the EDP. On me the EDT even last longer.
Recently got a travel size tresor...it's very nice.
I just got a bottle of Channel Gabrielle intense for Mothers Day. I am in love!
Loubirouge is definitely the next one on my list, I recently bought Greenwich village and can’t wait to get that in, but I was so torn, between that and loubirouge, I found a good deal on Greenwich village that’s why I was kinda swayed but loubirouge will most definitely be next!! Great list!!💕
Mon Guerlain is soo beautiful and is such a huge compliment getter! It is a MUST HAVE in any collection! 😍🙌🏻💞
Thank God I'm not the only one crazy enough to wear Alien in high heat! 😆 And yes, it's like it blossoms in high temperature it gets more on the sweet and indolic side, rather than the cool and soapy one!

It’s so great to see Mon Guerlain! I feel like it’s super underrated so maybe I’m not on the right social media? 🤣
Also, the lotion-though expensive- is a wonderful adjunct. I use a few drops (it’s quite thin and watery in texture) into unscented body lotion and it really projects; so much so that sometimes I don’t even use the perfume.
Everyone loves and talks about mon Guerlain especially the intense version, my favorite version. You must be sensitive to perfumes if you are only wearing the lotion and mixing it with unscented. I wish mon Guerlain intense was more intense!
@@laurenskubish400 I love the intense too! I sometimes forgo the perfume for lotion when I’m seeing patients; half scented/half unscented is a great combo to project but not bother others. 🙂

I have to agree with Flowerbomb and Si Intense. They are such a beautiful perfumes. I will add YSL Libre and Mon Paris. 🤩
Weirdly I have yet to fall completely head over heels for any YSL fragrances. 🫤 I have samples of Mon Paris EDP and it’s very average IMO. Libre is not bad, but it doesn’t give me butterflies. I prefer Mon Guerlain far more than Libre if we’re taking about lavender notes. Another one I’m crazy about is Elizabeth and James Nirvana French Grey. I’ll warn it’s not for everyone, and not super sweet. But if you like the smell of a straight-up lavender plant, softened by a slightly powdery accord, it’s amazing. I guarantee you won’t smell like anyone else.
love this list! for some reason I cannot get behind flowerbomb, it reminds me of a high school locker room because every girl at my hs wore it, and I dislike how recognizable it is. I need to try mon guerlain!
My fave flowerbomb is the nectar one :) that one is more my jam!

I agree with you on KayAli and Peony and Blush Suede. I would add The Only One and Black Opium Intense. I just received a sampler set from Henry Rose. I haven’t tried any on my skin yet but on paper several smell amazing. Do you have any perfumes from Henry Rose?

I just got a discovery set of fugazzi perfumes. The style of the bottles seem really up your alley.
I like the Gabrielle too- it's the only one I can actually spray on myself rather than just dabbing little drops :)
Mon Guerlain suits me so much, although I dont like repeating perfumes, still love it.🌟

I loved Alien, but no more, I was over it years ago.
I wear Si black in the summer when it is very hot, also in this weather I wear the heaviest fragrances like Classic Opium. They are made for the heat. perfume is the Middle East, the Middle East is hot. They open up completely differently.

I LOVE the miss dior edp it was actually the first perfume I ever got! I’m starting to get into perfumes. But I hope to not collect to many because I really want to enjoy a few and maybe when I run I will get another.
Of all your top tens this seems the most well rounded. I am surprised by a couple of them (si intense, peony and suede) but they do add dimension to your list.

Chanel Gabrielle is by my favorite! It doesn’t get as much love as it should in the perfume world. But I absolutely love it!

@@yrenealderas7461 - Brazilian Crush comes in several different scents. Ilythia has mentioned that she likes #62. My fave is #71. They have a strong scent when you spray them on. But keep in mind these are not perfumes - they are body mists/sprays, so lasting power isn't great. I usually refresh once or twice a day.
Wow, I did not know that they are body sprays. Very interesting because you go by the number and how they smell. I guess I will find them at Sephora I believe. Yesterday I just received on the mail Ariana Grande cloud, body mist from Amazon and it smells very nice. But I realize when you really want to know how a perfume smells you definitely have to get the actual perfume. Thank you so much for your feedback.
I think our taste is quite similar. I also love TM alien, JM peony suede, mon guerlain, miss dior, and flowerbomb :)

I understand why you like the Jo Malone Peony ; I’m not crazy about it but we all have different noses. I tried to love the Cheirosa but it’s way too sweet for me, and I even love Lira. I can imagine liking it in the air because it is a pleasant scent but it’s overwhelmingly gooey like candy on me anyway. Maybe if I used just a little bit and then sprayed some citrusy thing over it that would be great. I don’t know. I also cannot get on board with alien but I’d do you like Angel so there you go. It’s just information. It wouldn’t be interesting if we all liked the same fragrances anyway.
I like Alien straight from the bottle, but when it hits my skin, it smells like literal poo. 💩 However, Alien Goddess works on me. I also blind purchased Angel Muse and it’s fantastic IMO.
Hi Illythia, if you love Brazilian Crush 62 pls try Yara from Lattafa.✨💖✨Yara is milky, creamy and less sweet, but little more frutier than 62, they are very very similar

I love the entire Armani Si line, i have almost all of them and Si Intense Black is my favorite! I have 2 bottles of it. I also have a 2015 formulation of the original and its sooooo good compared to the new formulation of the original
I have the red bottle of SI and it had no longevity. I will have to try the black bottle🙏🏾

So is ordering perfumes when it is in the 80s to 90s outside not a good thing? I looked up online and it said that's it is a lot hotter in a trailer than outside. If that is where the perfume is, could that damage it?
Ilythia ❣️❣️❣️ I may have found my perfect vanilla...pretty much straight vanilla. Aerin Tangier Vanille 😍😍😍 there are several scents that I absolutely love in that line. I don't have a fruity, so that's what I'm looking for now!! Will have to try the Armani and want to try TM Angel Nova 🍓🍒🍎🍉🫐🍇

I feel the same about Miss Dior. The new version is pleasant but not special. The past formulation was a much better scent.

Although I don’t agree with Ilithya 100% of the time, Burberry Her isn’t my favorite, either. I’m so glad I got a sample. It’s not a bad scent whatsoever. It’s simply that it reminds me of a very simple, juvenile strawberry fragrance. I feel like I could get as much complexity from a B&BW spray. If you enjoy a sweeter, strawberry scent, it’s a go, but it just doesn’t seem very complex or refined for the price.

What I would do with that bottle of Miss Dior is decant the rest of the juice into 5ml Travel sizes to do a big free giveaway on your channel then you can crack open a new bottle from your backups! Otherwise its gonna go bad before you use it up
I don't think so. Fragrances go bad when exposed to heat and light.
Chanel Gabriel is so weak. Bought a bottle this week and took it back in the same week.
I sprayed it in the store on a paper strip, honestly, I could hardly smell anything. Am I missing something?

I think it's primarily a fragrance channel. Ik she does other things from time to time, but, the majority of her audience is here for fragrance 🤷♀️ I subscribe to quite a few true crime channels and they cover true crime. A channel on books that just covers book reviews.
Wow! Why is Alien by Mugler considered a "haz-mat" item that can only ship ground???? What the heck?????? Perhaps I won't buy it after all...
All aerosol items are, not just Alien (not even just perfumes). If they’re not shipping ground it’s typically because they didn’t properly disclose the package contents to the shipping company.
How about buying something other than designer fragrances. Alien is always on the worst fragrance videos.
