The moment I saw this Dondon Nakar interview, I got excited and stopped what I was doing and glued my eyes on the screen! He was my biggest crush. I remember collecting his black and white pictures, different poses, and keeping them in my special album. I have searched for a long time to see how he looks like now, and thank you for this interview!

Dondon and family are nice people. I used to go to their house to attend their prayer meeting. I asked him to sing during my brother’s wedding at Don Bosco Makati. He didn’t charge me at all… that’s how kind he is. I had to leave for the states so I lost contact with the prayer group.
I am so happy to see Dondon Nakar even just here, I am an avid fan of yours during my younger years. But you did not change a bit , you still have the same kind of voice and looks. You did not even age. I think that is the secret of being near with the Lord , you are happy and it shows in your face. I admire you for being simple, un pretentious and unaffected even if you are well known . So glad that Butch was able to interview you. Nice to reminiscence . God bless and stay safe!

Unforgettable sa akin yang si Dondon Nakar kasama niyang nagbigay ng award sa akin si Gina Alajar sa Don Bosco Tondo nang ako ang tanghaling MVP sa basketball league year 1972.Ang tanda ko sa better living sa parañaque sya nakatira noon at isa ako sa nakasama sa bahay nila na pinakain at bingyan ng mga groceries dahil magpapasko noon. Bilang isa sa mga iskwater noon sa barrio magsaysay masayang masaya kami mga isang dyip kami na mga kabataan mula Don Bosco at paguwi ko tuwang tuwa ang nanay ko dahil sa biyaya.Mabait yang si Dondon at ang pamilya nya.Ngayon ko lang nga siya nakita ulit naalala ko tuloy yung kabataan ko.Sana mameet ko sya ulit

Haha nagbalik ang nakaraan, that's the time when I was a Grade schooler in our province, wla pang TV kundi radio lng pero napakalinaw...narinig ko lng boses ng Apat na Sikat pero kumpleto ako sa pictures nila...tlagang cla ang teens na Sikat noon, wlang kalaban, d tulad ngaun, ang dami n nila...pero d ko alam na ganun pla cla d masyadong close...pero yang c Arnold, classmate ko, Block Section kami sa AB Economics sa FEU during the 80s at nakikiberks nman sa amin, and we did a duet during our JS prom😊
What I remember is my St. Scolasticas days in which our school was invited by Ateneo devManila to watch a play, " principeng Hindi tumatawa " wherein Dondon Nakar was the lead actor. It's an interschool activity. Boys schools like Ateneo always invite us, Scholasticans to watch their school plays. We in turn invite them in our family days, intrams, etc

He’s my first crush . I didn’t even know or understand the word crush at that time . My mom caught me starring at him while watching his tv shows , giggling and all . She teased me after that and I will occasionally blushed. She even bought me a picture of him from Divisoria with a fake dedication.
