It is urethane, similar to the stock bumpers and side skirts.

Didn’t show welding. Are you gonna mig or flux core it?

I always do mig with shielding gas. I’m not a fan of flux core on sheet metal.

Would you happen to know if you can put an LX rear & Front bumper on a GT will it fit?

I’m doing a two tone cobra clone with my 89 gt but am using the dynaflex bumpers and side skirts. I’m going to pass on the cobra wing and just stay with the gt.

I have yet to understand why you had to cut the front fender I do know 91 through 93. The fender opening is larger because of the 16 inch wheels. I actually have a 91 and my son crashed it and I got a 91 fender, and it would not fit Well the fender fit the plastic piece that went on the front of the fender was for an 88 to 90. Apparently somebody had changed the front fenders on the car prior to me getting it.

So my car is an 89 which has the smaller wheel opening on the front fenders. The kit I ordered is for a 91-93 which has the larger wheel opening. To make the kit fit right I needed to trim the 89 fenders to make the wheel opening larger. Hopefully that makes more sense now.

I'm in the opposite boat.. I have a 90 LX that someone put a 91-93 front on.

Thank you for the comment! The entire car is getting repainted black so I’m not too worried about the paint at this moment.
