They need great minds that will help each man do the right thing. Tooooo many rules and swami, I'm not one of your 'children'. "Those who know, don't talk!" Those who talk, don't know! Listen to those who are wiser. But find your own laws of life.
If you know the life of Vivekananda, you would not make such a wild generalization of a world teacher. In your limited world, you only see money as the value system in life. Vivekananda did not teach a "belief system" as you have in Islam; he brought out from the doldrums, the principles, spirit laws discovered by ancient Indians saints . He did not engage in bigotry, nor dogma; he was a refreshing breeze in the stultifying, choking atmosphere of religious bigotry of most religions.
But the process you offer is corrupt. A man whose 'profession' is priest, mullah, guru etc is a man who makes a living 'teaching' his own belief system. Yes, everyone needs someone who can help put them on 'the path', but the problem with the guru/teacher is that HE needs the 'student' more than the 'student' needs him. He profits financially from them, he is raised to a higher station by the students and his ego is inflamed as his students worship him rather than his 'teaching'.
