I have a problem where I don't know if the disc encoder OR the carriage scale encoder strip OR timing belt OR motor is the problem OR something with the actual carriage is broken. The printer makes a screatching strong noise every time i open the printer as if the motor is slipping on the belt.
The green power led and the two orange leds for ink and paper keep flashing simultaneously.
Also hen I try to print a Nozzle Check test page it thinks a paper jam has occurred but that is not the case.
How can I calibrate the sensor for the disc encoder?
How do I calibrate the sensor for the carriage scale encoder strip?
My printer is Epson L3110.
My printer does not have a LCD screen for error codes so I don't know what's actually wrong. I tried in Windows 10 to use the Epson Status Monitor but no error appears in there.
How can I figure out what the problem is? Thank you!
