I think David Bowie's catalog is better than Pink Floyd's and the Beatles' combined. And I'm saying this as a huge fan of all them. Bowie is simply untouchable.
It’s hard to say bc they were inspired by bands like The Beatles. They’re top 5 bands in history imo anyways, alongside The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Beach Boys. That’s my personal opinion.
Probably the most artistic, innovative, influential & experimental rock band since the golden days of The Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones & The Beatles!
First song i heard was high and dry, in one compilation album; now that's what i call music. Second song i heard was Paranoid android in another now: that's what i call music i was blown away, after that i bought ok computer's cd and i fell in love. After that i devoured the bends, pablo honey all toguether, kid a was an interesting work of art to digest in general that era. The first time i saw them live was with the in rainbows tour i felt i wans't even touching the ground it was almost a religious experience.
To think Radiohead went from Pablo Honey, to The Bends (that's when they become the best British band since) then OK Computer in only 4 years is incredible. A band that came up to fast for the right reasons.
What's the latest on the 2020 HOF class? Does Todd Rundgren have a shot? Last yr he came in 3rd in the popular and still did not make it. Politics as usual.
Too bad no one knows anyone in the band except Tom. The rest are totally anonymous. Advice to newbys : Get The Bends and OK Computer now, they are the only albums of theirs you have to have.
Neil Aspinall depends who you talk to. In a rock context, maybe. Many rank In Rainbows and Kid A higher than The Bends. And to say no one knows Jonny as well as Thom may say more about you.
“We may not be the greatest musicians around”
Are the greatest musicians around
They are on level with the likes of Pink Floyd or Beatles.
Indeed.
Lol funny enough those are the only two bands I can even say compare to Radiohead
I think David Bowie's catalog is better than Pink Floyd's and the Beatles' combined. And I'm saying this as a huge fan of all them. Bowie is simply untouchable.
Emirhan G. David Bowie’s is up there as well but better than The Beatles and Pink Floyd is definitely an overstatement and I love David Bowie lmao
@@calebdickerson2003 Maybe I'm a little biased haha. I love Bowie so much.
The Best Band in the world for over 20 years.
Fuck you tish best garbage band
Informacion Gonzales lol it’s because you’re clearly not smart enough to understand them you can’t even fucking speak English

The greatest band of all time.
@Rolls Royce Well no, they are. Radiohead is the greatest band of all time along with Pink Floyd. EASILY.
The best band in the universe. And Ed's speech was so thrilling... The best speech I've heard in my life. ♥
Correct. Congratulations on being a member of the 151+ IQ club
Seriously if they made their debut in somehow around like 70s they'd have considered as like the best band in the world next to the beatles
Ezra Blake good name
It’s hard to say bc they were inspired by bands like The Beatles. They’re top 5 bands in history imo anyways, alongside The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Beach Boys. That’s my personal opinion.
The greatest ones.
The greatest ever
Oh, Amnesiac is the home for more accessible tracks? I did not know that
Who the fuck wrote that jesus christ
I mean, Amnesiac did have singles and more traditional rock instruments/arrangements on it. Not as electronic as Kid A
XD
ur telling me u don’t blast pulk/pull revolving doors at a party?
One of the top 10 bands of all time, definetly
One of the greatest musical acts of any time period
Probably the most artistic, innovative, influential & experimental rock band since the golden days of The Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones & The Beatles!
2:14-2:29 I don't know why but that transition from Street Spirit to No Surprises and Ok Computer gives me goosebumps.
wow they completely skipped HTTT
HTTT isn't "Media Friendly"
Mars right?!🙄
I loved that record. It eludes me why it doesn’t get more attention.
Like me when I listen to their discography

1:33 they were like 14 years old in 1982 😂 the rock hall got it 10 years short

The best band in the World since The Replacements
Eds speech!❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👍

Arthur Lee !
My favorite band
did they just gloss over hail to the the8f and skipped straight to in rainbows?
Hail to the thief isn't as easy for the "easy listeners." Its a bit more intellectual I think.
Radiohead like They'r making Masterpiece of Art...
When they bring up King of Limbs but not Hail to the Thief
HELL YES!!! THE BEST EVER. If you can't understand it- good. That means I am on the higher end of the IQ bell curve.
Wow how dare they exclude album 6 & 8. Even if it may not be there best it’s still not the worst.

lol love the blatant skip on hail to the thief. fair enough lol
ugh. don't lump cold play in with radiohead..

"guitarist Jonny Greenwood" is a bit of an oversimplification

Kid A is also essential. Everything In It's Right Place !
Must have indeed
one word: In rainbows
I rate In Rainbows and Moon Shaped Pool higher than Kid A and In Bends!
Tom York's ego is the size of the milky way.
shanaqbaimuru not really, he doesn’t try to be mainstream he just likes to perfect his art, so where tf you getting your info?

Easily the greatest band of all time, and you completely slept on one of their greatest records, hail of the thief.
