The thing about the show that for some reason a lot of anti-fans just didn’t get is that these girls were already trainees at companies, some of them for years yet they’re acting as if dancing is new to them. Lisa is just being like any other coach.

Actually some of them only trained for months, not years if u actually looked at their profile. Some of em are specifically singers or rappers that don’t incorporate dance too much in their performances

I used to do dance and trust me a teacher will always know when you didn’t practice enough because you’ll mess up on the simple things trying to memorize the big things.

Honestly this is how kpop training is. She’s honestly being easy on them compared to labels. It’s a very very hard thing to do. So she’s honestly trying to prepare them because if she doesn’t a label would and that’ll be way worse you know? At least Lisa is a person who has GONE through kpop training for years and years and years so she has a good perspective. But I agree it would be so intimidating and hard to have basically an idol of yours be super harsh. Blackpink talks a lot about how hard their training was. I believe she agreed to do another season of this show but maybe a blink can correct me if I read it wrong or just thought I saw it lol. Great reaction though y’all

This season was from last year, right now another season of up with male trainees which Lisa is a mentor again.
Lisa is the lead dancer of blackpink lol, the girls were trainees to be in potential new groups, she’s always on it when it comes to dance, she just wanted the best out of them all, especially the rappers because she raps as well

Dance teachers do be like this tho.If you arent hitting every angle on every beat it end up being them making you repeat the same step over and over and then lecturing everyone if they arent satisfied with enough people's dancing . I remember leaving a dance school in the first week cause the teacher was so strict and thorough i cried. Dance class can be hell but it is fun.

These kids were trainees from their companies. I don't know if some of their company might praised their dance. may be? but if they satisfied with just this they would get only "this". and these thing she teach them isn't any something new method for practice. and this show is just about take off some weed to get the best out of them so normally they would get beat up and beat up again like this since in the end there would be only few of them who survived. like this show they choose only 9 from almost 100 trainees. so if they can't be the best they would get eliminated.

The part with where the trainee says she has been training for two months is referring to her overall time training for 2 months and Lisa was shocked bcs she was so good after 2 months most idols train for years I think Lisa trained 5 or 4 years

Honestly if I wanted to do something as hard and abnormal as be a kpop artist with a big label I think having Lisa as a mentor would seriously help and I could learn a lot. But if I’m just doing something after school and it isn’t a life career option I wouldn’t care enough to stick around. Just depends. If they’re serious about being idols then she’s a solid needed mentor.
Well she is the dance mentor of this survival show. Keywords being "survival show". They came here to perfect their skills to debut in a group with 9 final members. They have 3-4 days to learn the choreography which is quite enough to learn the steps at least & showing up to her class not remembering the moves or a group not functioning well together is on them. Lisa's job is to point out mistakes & flaws that have to be fixed for their performance. They learn the choreo before coming to her. They have to push themselves harder & she's not nearly as strict as people who are training idols in companies for years are. The competition is tough, if they don't put enough effort to keep up they'll easily get surpassed by more ambitious and hard working girls while some don't really seem to be trying their best at all. For a mentor, that's a frustrating thing to see.

The trainee not new comer, only 1 or 2 new but the rest was already being artis singer rapper and dancer, so they not new to this world and Lisa only have 4 month to prepare them for debut as a girl group, she cant teach them one on one so she has to be really details and sharp in all her class to better the trainee who at the end of each week will be send home in group. So thats why she being extra hard on them

If u are a trainee in YG? That is how Lisa been thru, she was in the trainee. She works very hard to get famous like this,
she dances 20 hours a day & goes to different classes learn different lessons. She is Thai? She has to learn the Korean
language lesson too, she was in trainee for 4 years. She is not joking or playing around doing these jobs, she pushes
the trainee so hard they can get a good grade. In that clip? The student was in D & F class, so why Lisa so strict with them.
They need to catch up on their grade, if not they will out of 60 trainees soon in the survival show.
If Lisa is my dance teacher? I will pair a lot of attention to her, for my idol career I will listen.
I would love a no nonsense coach like Lisa someone who tells it like it is rather than someone who sugarcoats then makes me an average kinda person

No I wouldn’t be scared I would respect her more for the way she is. If you are a k-pop trainee then this is what you should have expected walking in anyway. She’s 100% correct on every point she makes and if they can’t handle it then they shouldn’t be idols. Period.

I wouldn’t call her mean, she understands what it’s like to train almost all day everyday for years. Lisa hand Blackpink had to train at trainee camp for 5+ years so she wants them to do the best they can do to make it to the top.

I mean you can think she was harsh but it was honestly for their own good 🤷♀️ like if they weren't perfect or as close to it as they could be...they'd be eliminated. She had like 100+ "trainees" (if I'm remembering correctly) to get ready for their performances she didn't have time to teach all of them individually and practice with them. It kinda sucks that a lot of these videos only showed her "tough" mentor side because she went above and beyond for these girls like at one point she modified a dance part for one of the girls and sent her a video at the trainees request and much more. But people just want to call her a bitch (not y'all but a lot of people did and still do because of it) for just doing what she was supposed to be doing 🤷♀️ Also I want to saying (considering people take issue with it) she probably had them repeat so many times to pinpoint exactly what was wrong or off about their performance. But other than that (sorry kinda went on a rant 😬) I actually really enjoyed your reaction 😊👍
