My home town, there isn't a town like it anywhere around. I will promise you that. Peaceful is an understatement. Tons of history and art.

I ministered in Griffin Indiana, 1979 -1988, less than 10 miles North of New Harmony. While there my wife Connie spent a few years as Director of the New Harmony Weavers Institute where weaving materials, looms, lessons and anything to do with weaving can be found. Instructions from teachers from all over use to fill the calendar. Since moving we have returned many times to visit with friends.

Thanks Kent; I appreciate your feedback. I don't hear from a lot of folks on my small town videos, so it's great to get your perspective. The Weavers Institute sounds super cool...New Harmony is an awesome little town. Isn't Griffin the site of the deadly tornado that took out most of the town? HMM

Yes, Griffin had two houses standing after the tornado. Folks still go to shelters when a storm threatens. Many of our friends at the time we were there lived through it. The cemetery has many headstones with the date on it. School was just getting out when it hit.

@@kentdunn3288 How tragic, and so sad. I should do a story on the town. Thanks again, Kent. HMM

Great little feature, thank you for creating this.
As a resident, I love any publicity for our town. Good to see my neighbors being interviewed.
