Matt could release an album every month for a year & I would never get tired of listening to his voice. He is so talented, genuine and musically genius.

It's incredible. Like nick drake. So good to hear him do a solo piece. Like good to be alone

You're a gift to the world Matt Corby. The world needs musicians like you; souls like you! Never doubt your beautiful gift, it touches people's souls🤗😎🌏🪐🌕🙏🐦👣🌸🇦🇺🦋🌷🦜🌟🏡🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Oh and you're loved by Australia and we're very proud to have such a world class, beautiful soul among us. Your music touches deeply. I nearly lost my life three years ago. I survived three ruptured brain aneurysms on night which caused me to have a stroke. It took me four months to be able to stand up. Five months in hospital, I could finally come home. My life has changed completely and many days are spent watching and listening to music on TH-cam. I thank God there are lovely souls like you. 🌏🪐🌕🙏🐦🇦🇺🌸👣🦋🦜🌟🏡🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

When I seen Matt in concert, it was the most beautiful experience I ever had. So grateful that he is still going for the sake of us & love of music.

So glad to see Matt still on it and buzzing, we all know he's a good bloke even though he still hasn't come to South Africa. Can we have an interview of the interviewer?

Wow. I can’t believe that Mainies, my favourite song on the album, was created in a literal evening. At the same time, I can definitely believe it. Matt is one of the best artists on the planet, after all!

Matt has always been an enigma to me. He's extremely talented and a deep vocalist and lyricist ... but I've not seen him talk about himself or his process, before. This was really a great interview (and obviously he was comfortable with the interviewer) and I'm so glad that he answered the questions deeply and honestly. I don't see any ego in him ... but a quiet confidence and a certainty that he's exactly where he's supposed to be, doing what he's supposed to be doing. If he's aspirational on any level, it's just to make better music. And ... on a creative note: Kudos to Matt for keeping the interview going with all the distractions that were happening, with the talking and doors opening and closing. Is it so hard to find a QUIET space for such an important interview??

Glad you like the interview! and sorry about the background noise, sometimes it can be difficult and you have to make due, plus often times people can see that we are filming but just don't care and continue walking in and out and talking etc.

These are high-quality responses to the questions. I'd never heard of Matt before until today when I was scanning Ticketmaster for concerts in the UK this September, where I'll be vacationing, and saw his name in the listing. I was curious who he is and why he is popular. I think I might attend one of the shows now. [Edit: I've got my ticket for Bristol on 18 September!]

Great interview but did no one tell the others working there not to disturb them? So many times I heard people talking and opening doors. Must have been so awkward for both Matt and the interviewer

    • @FaceCulture

Thanks. Yes, it can be annoying when sometimes unfortunately not everyone in the building is made aware that a filmed interview is in progress. And some people simply don't care. But we make due. I hope it wasn't too distracting.
