On other side there is so little space that indeed; need to insert light first and only then try to fiddle click the cable on to it. It's ridiculously short, even 1 cm more would make a world of a difference.
Hi, Issue of 4300k or 6000k is a personal preference thing. The 6000k gives a more "blueish" light. It look a bit cooler. But, it seems like 4300k is the standard OEM in most European cars. Not sure, but I believe, that I read somewhere that 4300 gives more light fitting the human eye, especially if you are over 50 as I am. But just to be clear, It doesn't matter which you choose from a technical point of view, It is a look and feel thing. Btw, I'm not happy with my "Chinese Xenon" I'm replacing them with "Osram night breaker". Got a good price but still 2.5 times the price of the Chinese. I keep telling my self it is expensive to be cheep, but still I do it. I buy cheep, then I not happy and replace them, Should have bought the right ones from the start. BR Tobe
@@torbjornulrichs8570 I bought yesterday Philips 4300. I couldn't find osram at that shop. It cost me 20 euro for the one bulb. I know it is Chinese copy. Thanks for your video I learned to change them too. It was the one in front of the battery. From the looks of it it looks same as other one (color), but it is little bit brighter. Tnx for teaching me how to change bulb. It saved me money. :)
Hi, Happy that it helped. It' is not too hard when you know how. Needing to remove the battery sucks. I normally change both lights. The reason is that the light gets worse with age. That means if one is broken then the other one give weak light even if it is still working. That is why your new light is brighter.
Compared to my last car, Volvo V70, The long light are very poor on the Peugeot. My understanding is that it is the same lamps for both the full light and the half light on the peugeot. It is just mechanically blinding down for the half light. On the Volvo there were 2 Xenon for half light and 2 more for the full light. All together 4 Xenon lights. I bought really expensive Osram lights to the peugeot, it helped a bit, but not close to as good as the volvo with cheap Chinese lights. I'm considering extra lights (led ramp). but that is not so easy to connect to Xenon. Btw, I have a weird double hook shaddow on the full lights on the left light. Is it supposed to be like this or is it only m,y car that have this feature?
@@torbjornulrichs8570 As I heard from a friend in a Facebook page called 'Peugeot 508 Turkey' we are doing it in a wrong way and we are not able to fit it in the place completely. He had it done at a qualified Peugeot service and apparently that's what they told him. He now says that they are completely fine now. He was having the exact same problem and now it is fixed. In the next periodic maintenance I will tell them to fix it.
Ok, try that and let me know how it went, from my perspective, the full light on the Peogeot 508 sucked from day one (before needing to change anything) and haven't improved :-(

El video no se ajusta a la realidad, la luz que sale fundida cuando indica cual es es la del lado del conductor, y la que se cambia en el video es la del lado del acompañanate. Cual es la diferencia? que en el lado del acompañante de puede hacer asi porque hay sitio para las manos y retirar la vieja e instalar la nueva, pero en el lado del conductor ( que se supone que es la luz que marca como fundida) no hay sitio, y, o se desmonta la optica entera, previo desmontaje del parachoques delantero, o se desmonta la caja de los fusibles y la bateria. De otra manera es imposible... osea que el video no se ajusta a la realidad, NO SE PUEDE CAMBIAR LA BOMBILLA DEL LADO DEL CONDUCTOR COMO SE DESCRIBE EN ESTE VIDEO.....
Hi, I never just changed one xenon light bulb. The reason is that I so far changed the type of xenon lightbulb as well. I changed on both sides. But if you look carefully in the video and the comments, I tell that you need to remove the battery to access the other side. I also link to another video telling how to remove the battery, which is a project of it's own.
My polish is not what it used to be. but if you look in the video and in the comments you will find a link on how to remove the battery. (By the way it is Polish)

I changed my light bulbs but there is almost no difference between long and short light. This is why I replaced them. How do you think I can fix it?
