Johnny Steps was a single episode villain that appeared near the end of the first season. He was the guy Tea beat in Dance Dance Revolution when she was on a date with the pharaoh.

sorry, usually it's higher but this version for some reason kept getting claimed and blocked 😭😭 this is the 4th version that I got to pass, even had to cut some of the best scenes, it was annoying AFFF, 4kids don't want us to have fun

Yugi is 16 and Rebecca is kind of a weird thing.
In the og anime she was 12 both in season 1 and this season.
In the 4kids version she was 8 in season 1and it's never mentioned that she ages, but by her change of appearance and attitude it's assumed she's 12... but Yugi doesn't age.
Still, 16 and 12 is reaaaally stretching it.

16 and 12 is creepy, but it wouldn't be entirely weird for a 12 year old to have a crush on a 16 year old.
Yami is an ancient Egyptian pharoah, and I'm not even going to begin to try to research ancient Egyptian age/relationships norms, or how that differed for the rulers.

@@DirectorNasty there’s only 3 episodes plus a an abriged special from season 0. Little said he paused making more from that season because finding high quality and raw (no subtitles) episodes was insanely difficult to near impossible to find. Apparently he had a hell of a time finding just those 3 episodes and the special.
Kind of a shame because there was some F*CKED UP SH*T in season 0. It’s Been years, but I still remember the more messed up moments than I do the overall plot.😳
And Dark Bakura is even more insane, so I was looking forward that being abriged.🤣
7:24: At this point in the series, Yugi is probably 16-17. Rebecca is like, 12. But she is a college student.
The age of Yugi seems to be a bit hard to find, but his classmates, Joey and Tea, both are 16, so Yugi must also be about 16.
Rebecca is 12 in the Japanese, but only 8 in the dub, for some reason.
Also, Yugi does have a mother that shows up in the manga and Japanese anime, but apparently isn't in the dubbed version.
@zirath ashe Probably just 4Kids being shortsighted with their changes. From her aesthetic (pigtails, teddy bear, etc.), they might've thought it made more sense for her to be younger, and if they assumed she was a one off character, they wouldn't have known she'd come back as part of the supporting cast and looking completely different.
Semi unrelated, but I wanna say this kind of reasoning is also why they gave Nico Robin a southern accent in their One Piece dub, because she happened to be wearing a cowgirl outfit when the crew met her and they just ran with it.
