I love the colors in your Plumpy Shawl! It looks so cozy! Thank you for sharing all of your projects. I have never purchased an advent. They are a big investment for something that you don't get to see beforehand, and I'm too worried that I wouldn't have a good project to make with them.
That's the set-back I have too...but once vlogmas season rolls around and all the creators start sharing their advents, I always want to pick one up for myself. This year, I will be good though. I will just watch in awe and use up the yarns that I have already ;) Thank you for watching!
Beautiful projects!! I am not purchasing anymore yarn until I can use up a lot of what I already have on hand. I finished a prayer shawl for my friend for her birthday and she loves it. I am making a Swiffer reusable pad right now and I want to start a coffee cozy and mug rug for the upcoming fall season. I also want to make some cozy socks for gifts soon.
Wow that is really nice that you created a prayer shawl for your friend.. I think I need to start thinking of gift knitting for the upcoming holiday season. Thank you for suggestions!
I’ve bought one advent calendar from a local Aussie dyer, and thankfully she allowed us to pay in instalments. I was very tempted by the amirisu advent calendar…and then i remembered the shipping costs from japan 😅 I’m currently contemplating on whether i should participate in the WestKnits MKAL at the moment…because I’m not sure if its going to be a slog like the last shawl was…which i am also contemplating frogging because I don’t actually wear it.
Ohhh! I had no idea Amirisu had an advent calendar available (lol) perhaps for next year.. So, did you end up going for the Westknits MKAL? I will definitely be enjoying everyone's post from afar ;)
I would love to buy an advent but get so worried about getting slapped with customs fees to Korea 🥲 I keep checking the dyers local to me but haven’t had any luck
