- Ten years ago, Dumb Ways to Die became one of the major breakout viral video hits of 2012, with its unique brand of quirky humour and incredibly catchy tune spreading a serious message about transport safety. Since its debut, its channel has amassed almost half a billion views on TH-cam, a top ten spot on iTunes Australia, and spawned an entire universe in the process...
To celebrate this milestone and the penning of a new deal with Netflix, PlaySide Studios has revealed a roadmap of upcoming mobile titles, with Dumb Ways to Draw 2 and Dumb Ways to Die 4 set for a 2023 release, and more info on its upcoming Bean Land (working title) project.

The fact that a PSA on train safety got this far is actually amazing
To think, a simple cartoon designed to help promote safety around trains spawned so much. As an Aussie, it’s kinda surreal to see these characters at the train stations, as I remember it all started here

I still remember when I couldn't install the Dumb ways to die app because my phone didn't meet the installation requirements. And after a few years when I got my new phone, I finally got to play it. I can't believe 10 years have passed. Keep up the hard work 👍

Emily’s voice was a big reason this was even a thing. Her voice is soft and gentle but still full of energy. The cartoons are forgettable for me but her voice brings it back for me.
It took me years to realize this was a psa to be careful around train tracks. This song is truly amazing and I will come back to it every chance I get 😭
