*Thank you for clicking on these whether you shop or not! It helps me out!
It was also Members Only jackets for us. I remember how excited and cool I felt when my boyfriend (now husband) gave me his Members Only jacket😂. Awesome memories!❤
@@lisalinder2697 oh yes! How could I have forgotten the Members Only jacket!!!
Oh my gosh ❤ I LOVE that you mentioned the handwriting prayer 🙏
It was for you!
I remember when pink + green and madras plaid were the height of preppy fashion! And...The Preppy Handbook! A green Izod under a pink oxford cloth button down, khaki pants and penny loafers with no socks and a *dime* in the penny slot in case we needed to make a phone call (this is how we dressed my senior year in high school) I still *have* my add-a-bead necklace! We got a gold bead every year for Christmas. What a cute month set-up. :)
Gina! I remember the Preppy Handbook! And all of what you described, haha! I’m impressed that you still have your add-a-bead necklace! No idea where mine ended up!
My mom and my aunt were in junior high and high school in the 70’s and still talk about Agner. Pronounced the same way! 😊
Haha! It clearly had a lasting impact!
Loved this! I’ve adapted the Scripture study and prayer list to my Torah study and prayer list in the pocket planner, thank you, Sarah 💐
Oh, nice! I’m glad you found that helpful, Hadassah! Thank you for watching!
When I was in junior high, we had just moved to Texas from Louisiana. In Texas, we could wear JEANS to school- unheard of in my school in La. So I wore bell-bottom jeans in junior high.
That’s interesting! Different parts of the country had their own acceptable fashion!
I love pink and green, but pink goes with so many colors Love the spread. Have a bless day!
You are so right, Donna!
I have similar jr. high memories! It was easily the height of peer pressure. The only difference is the pants - we wore dockers or jeans!
Ahh! Isn’t that interesting? I guess the extra angst may have been due to entering the preteen and teen years.
This story time is cracking me UP! 😂 I need to put this outfit style on my Pinterest board
Hahaha! Ashley, you should!
Junior high was the best ! I wore all of that - but dickies ! Lol. We wore Levi’s , Jordache. Etc. but we did all the others you mentioned. lol. I loved pink and gray. I had the best pink and gray top with puffy sleeves and ruffles lol
Fun memories, Christi! I hope you enjoyed the trip down teen fashion memory lane!
I love these colors as well! I’m looking forward to using my weekly kit, it’s so pretty! 🩷
Aw, I’m glad you’re looking forward to using that kit, Patsy! Thank you so much!
So Adorable I love All your videos is so beautiful 🥰
That’s really kind of you, Madeline. Thank you!
Love your setup videos ❤ and this beautiful kit. I hope you're having a blessed week so far. 😊
Thank you, Cindy! It was a great week, and I hope yours was, too!
Love these colors! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you, Chris! You, too!
Beautiful layout
Thank you so much!
I was in Junior High in 1960 - 1963. We weren't allowed to wear pants, or, slacks as we called them back then. In my senior year of High School, as seniors we were allowed to wear slacks on Fridays. We were even allowed to go sit on the front lawn of the main building. Woo hoo!!! We had a strict dress code back then. Our skirt lengths were even measured if we showed too much of our knees. I'm trying to remember when I first started wearing pant suits at work, but I'm drawing a blank on that one. Uniforms were only worn in Catholic schools. We were not poor, but lower middle class? My parents couldn't afford to buy us much, so I used to silently wish we were Catholic so I wouldn't have to deal with the peer pressure of the times. Yes, there were mean girls back then too.
I think I would have enjoyed school uniforms, too! We were in the same boat re: middle class. Definitely had to save my allowance for what I had if parents thought it was too pricey!
I forgot all about Dickies pants! We pronounced the leather company as “on-yay.”
Then you were more informed than my crowd over here in SW Virginia, haha!
Adorable! Do you know when the “Book of the Month” stickers will be available in your shop? Thanks
I haven’t forgotten about that, Sheila! As soon as I can get to it!

My preppy sister can relate!
