Just bought a set last night, and TH-cam being TH-cam, recommended me this video! It’ll be my 2nd set of packs I buy for 151, so I’m hoping I at least don’t get too many repeats 😅 either way good luck on the next pulls! I’d love anything at this point, Zapdos, Charizard, holos haha

Ivysaur, Machoke, Tangela, Omanyte, Psyduck, Charizard EX. I would be happy with any of them! Wouldn’t mind any holo rares/ reverse holos either since I’m trying to complete my first set.

The Machoke illustration rare scene has to be my favorite card from the entire set. I really hoped to pull that one, but I never did. Would love to have that one for my collection.
I think it would be fun with grabbing this set still but the luck is tough for sure.
Love the Zapdos, machoke, tangela, psyduck and Omanyte. I still want to pull the poliwhirl and Dragonair.

You like the UPC for hits? I didn't have much luck with the ones I bought on the east coast, but a fan sent me some from the west coast and they did really well. p.s. I went back to costco for more, but holding for now.

Alakazam! First time watching your vids just got back into collecting as an adult and been buying unopened packs from a local card shop to get access to pre-scarlet and violet cards. This makes me want to get some 151 cards
I bought two collections to hold and sell down the road. I opened like 220 packs before and just bought the singles I didn't have. Other than the charizard it wasn't a terrible singles buy because I pulled at least one copy of all the other SIRs. Fun set but now with a master set it's easier to reminisce with the binder than blow money on ripping packs.
So glad you got at least something you needed!! Definitely better pull rate than I've had with like $450 down the drain and only like 5 full art and a gold mew (none of the charizard line) haha

I grabbed one of these today and got the SIR Charizard on the first pack. Next one had the Gold Mew, so I was very happy for $30ish

This is very reminiscent of my breaks lol. Few hits here and there but never what I need to complete the set! Congrats on getting one card for your set though.

The whole "future affecting the past" thing you mentioned is actually a theory, more in the alternative/fringe thinking side of thing referred to as retrocausality. It's a very interesting topic if you're into diving down such rabbit holes, haha.
Wow, Fam! You got this together way quicker than I thought you would. I guess with a deal like this, it's better to act fast. I'm hoping they show up here at our Costcos by the end of the month. We get everything at these wholesale big box stores late. Lucky we live Hawaii, haha.

I'm a firm believer in packs being packs. As long as they're not tampered with, the product or place they come from does not matter. Unless it's a ST cracked pack anomaly sorta thing. I've always had bad luck with those boxes. My luck didn't turn around until I started ripping ETBs and UPCs. Wish it went better, bro. Best of luck on whatever you rip next. I'm guessing Temporal.
Opened a 151 UPC with great pulls but obviously not enough to make a dent in the set. These boxes seem nice though if you can get a good deal. Definitely need the Zapdos and Alakazam promos 🙂

Alakazam! Definitely a gamble, but you get more from it than many other forms. Helps when you’ve got ways to use the cards beyond collecting.
I am trying to find some. I need the Omanyte and the Tangela LOL. This master set has been hard for me.
It's always luck of the draw to me. Although I haven't pulled the Zard myself, I have been crushing it with 151. I have seen the zard get pulled from one of the Costco sets. 151 is such a fun set that the chase will always be there for me. I'd rather chase than just buy a card 😆 I enjoy it. I grabbed one of these today. About what I expected from 151. Personally want to love this set but it's sooooo brutal to open.

I know how rough 151 is! I’ve pulled the gold Switch 4 times and yet to pull the gold Psychic Energy. Over 100 packs and I haven’t pulled the Articuno Holo🤯
zapdos! I don't have that promo card yet. I got back into pokemon cards once 151 was a few months older and haven't seen those boxes yet in person. maybe I'll check my Costco soon to see if we got those in stock now

Yeah, you can buy the singles for cheaper. But for this set, I want to actually pull as much as I can as long as the prices I get the packs stay low.

That was rough. Sorry man but I have had tough experiences with this set. I decided to buy the missing cards. I would take any of the zapdos promos or the psyduck.

Its funny to me when people say "I got these boxes from blank place and got nothing AVOID" or things like that.
Its literally rhe same odds for ANY box from ANY store per pack..no product has "Better" pull rates than another product, its all random.
Obviously there are minor exceptions to this, like booster boxes and sealed product not from the pokemon company.
ive bought over $3000 worth of this set. I can tell you from experience the longer the set gets printed the worse the odds of gettng good cards. when the first wave of 151 came out I pulled 4 sar zards. $1500 later and not another one and most boxes were duds.
My very first Pokemon 151 product my friend bought me was the zaptos collection box I pulled the Charizard

Why I think paldean fates is underrated.. yeah it's not a main 1st gen set but the hits hit and great for kids.
I thought it was just me, but I never seem to get a serious hit from a Costco Pokemon product.

From all the pulls I like the Machoke the best. But sir you def demostrated my kind of luck with 151. It is the reason why I need 24 more illustration rares. I did buy a pokemon entre etb but that one I keep it sealed. No way 11 packs would grand me a Zard, Blastoise or something along that value.
