Hi Mam, thank you for sharing. For numbers till like 4 or 5 we could teach them in horizontal items. What about say 8 or 9 what is your advise? Should it be preparing something 5 on top and rest below or all together in one row really lonv?
Mam...my son is quite okay with addition and subtraction already with singe digits. We need help on how to teach the concept of "carry" and "borrow" when adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers. Please?
Your videos are excellent and have been referring to these. Will you have any advice on how to teach missing numbers in addition. for example 8 + ___ = 23
It is the basis dear, schools don't need to teach subatizing, neurotypical get it on their own, so it's not a part of curriculum, our kids if they don't get this vital learning will never figure out addition MEANS increase in value and subtraction MEANS decrease in value it's the foundation stone for the building called MATH 👍
