Well i think because the cookie already max level so the energy Will be that high. The energy was so damn high that the bar cannot be extended anymore so the energy bar looks drain slowly. Sorry for bad English. But maybe the slower energy for final round makes sense because the energy is incredibly slow.
I know this comment is 3 years old but the last round had slower energy drain but more energy loss upon collision
