    the idea of her daughter being alone in the car like that breaks my heart. What a tragedy for her to grow up without her mum, losing her in such a bizarre, sudden fashion.

    This reminds me of a case in New Jersey of Gail F. Shollar she was carjacked while food shopping with her 3 year old daughter. She begged the attacker not to harm her daughter and managed to convince them to let her drop her off in front of a closed daycare.
    I’m wondering if in this case she convinced her kidnapper to leave her safe in the car where she would be found.

      Very plausible

    • @Serenity_yt
      @Serenity_yt ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Or he didnt see the child. The driver that found her said he only did bc she moved. Maybe she was sleeping in the back and the kidnapper convinced Traci to get out of the car without getting a closer look inside (couldve pretended to need medical help or sth) else they would've maybe taken the money to.

    This made me think of a case local to me. Alexis Morales of South Bend, IN, was found murdered with her infant son, Messiah, left abandoned but alive in the car with her body. Her murder remains unsolved. If anybody reads this, please take a moment to look up and share Alexis's story.

    These types of cold cases where there is no body found or much evidence...and they just disappear is extra heartbreaking. No answers, no anything for the family is just beyond sad. I pray for this family.
    The Randy Leach cold case is one you might want to do. He was 17 and never came home from a graduation party in 1986(or around that time frame)Him or his car have never been found. He was an only child. His dad passed away 2 yrs ago. His mom is still searching. His parents have never had cooperation with the police. This was in Kansas. It's the saddest story ever. I pray someday some answers will be given to his mom.

    I wonder if a police officer was in that area on that night or if someone was impersonating a police officer. That would be the only reason I would pull over on the side of the road without car issues.

    • @Serenity_yt
      @Serenity_yt ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Or a hitchhiker/ someone pretending to need help. The hitchhiker is less likely with a child in the car but if there was someone lying on the side of the road or flagging me down obviously needing help I would pull over as well. That would for me at least also explain why tracy would leave the toddler alone with the radio running you dont want your child to see sth like that. Maybe the abductor/ murderer never even noticed the child in the backseat if she didnt move.

    It's so frustrating that there are so many assumptions and unknowns. We don't know if the ex-husband should be a suspect, we don't know if the bones were human or what they were. But my first thought when I heard that the radio was on and the window was cracked, was that whoever stopped her is someone she knew. Think about a mom having a baby in the car and then she runs into someone she knows. She cracks the window and puts on the radio and stand outside the car talking maybe smoking a cigarette whatever. I feel like it's possibly someone she knows I wish we could look into the husband more too.

    There's no electricity in a car (unless its an electric car) it would have been power from the battery. Pretty good battery though, running all night without dying. Were there lights on? If not, that poor child alone overnight in the dark! Such a bizarre case.

    As you say the evidence against the 3 must be thin but by saying come and see us before we come see you, to me means they want one to come forward to claim the prize of reduced sentence/charges for informing and giving evidence against the others. I would not be suprised if there is a lot of movement in this case soon.

    It's VERY ODD that the 🚗 battery didn't die from the radio being on like that bc my husband fell asleep in my car for 4hrs with the radio on & when I tried to start it I got nothing. (He was in the passenger seat & we were in a shelter at the time where women had their own rooms & men shared a large room & I was still asleep) The ex-husband could still be at the center of this even if he didn't do it as it seems the welfare of the 2yr old was kept in mind but just speculating. N she was seen arguing with 3ppl & 3ppl are suspects so I think most might draw a conclusion to that right? For her families sake I hope they find out what happened!

      in deer country, deer are easily stunned and when scared will run into the road or just freeze, and this is common knowledge. hitting a deer can completely fuck your car, ive seen two of my parents cars totalled by a deer. If they are hit, there isn't much you can do.
      Also, deer country is also hunting country, so some people will shoot a deer then realize they can't bring it home.
      Deer are also similar to horses in that a foot injury can make them completely helpless to predators and cause them to be unable to really walk or run, so in places like a road with trenches around it, you can see deer that tripped and hurt themselves sometimes.
      Overall, deer just die pretty regularly, and because of that there's a lot of regulation to make sure they aren't overhunted or anything.
      edit: however, that many dead deer in one area is probably a sign of a predator or irresponsible hunter in the area, or the results of something like a wild fire or a disease in deer

    It doesn’t make sense to me that the car key would be turned halfway all night, the battery would have died very quickly. If you leave an inside light on for a few hours the battery dies, not to mention a radio..

      Not in my car. Overnight radio and some interior light used to be a thing off and on for me and my girlfriend in the 80's, as long as the weather is not cold plenty of juice left in the morning, if you leave other stuff on though you got problems. Guess it depends how big your battery is.

    I appreciate the detail. I don't like serial killers, singular killers, rapists, or criminals in general. I have a super mild fascination with their mental health and how it contributed to the cases I watch, but it can never be enough to get me as into true crime as I am. I'm not dressin saying there is anything wrong with that, with being fascinated by the inner workings of the mind of someone capable of something they couldn't ever dream of working, I'm just not one of them.
    See, I love mysteries and puzzles. I love cleaner tricks investigate and detective come up with to catch these monsters. I like knowing there are people out there, whom have a penchant for good do strong that they are able to outsmart some of the cleverest evil minds sometimes quite literally of all time. So when you show us the details of their intelligence, as Austin Powers would say it, it's "my bag baby, yeah." Lol.
