I am glad we reached this point. it was too much, even if it was totally understandable. but, I am happy we are back to normal and I am sure we'll see dilos quite a lot. specially compared to the likes of beipi and so. I guess, dilos will be around as much as omnis on the long run
I was playing a Gali the other day on a server that gives you admin privileges when you join their discord (big mistake btw 😂) a Dilo player had those privileges and kept teleporting to me, trying to kill me, they didn't need to because they could restore their hunger water, whatever they wanted anytime, it's just an example of the wrong people with power, and it sucks because they keep players away that are trying to get into playing the game. The game is amazing, the people are not 😂
Great video again! Servers are horrible at the moment. Yesterday I was a solo Carno and when I finally was 100% a group of 5 Omni raptors attacked me. I fought them off and they retreated so I went to a bush about 200 meters away to regen stamina and heal bleed. I noticed my stamina was not going up. All the sudden I teleported back where I fought the Omni raptors with my blood almost empty and I died.... I played since the beginning of legacy with 1800 hours and this never happened to me. Hope they fix this soon. 😩

Just a tip, you do x3 venom between 7pm and 7am atm ^^ So only 1 head bite on teno/cera/carno for stage 3, and 2 body/tail bites for the same dinos. While for stego, its 2 head bites and 3 body bites ^^ Dilo is CRAZY effective at nighttime, its pretty much jover for anything if a dilo finds them.

@@da.mombie ye, it’s not ideal for the video, but making successful hunts is also good for content 😊 so it’s both a lose and win. And your welcome! Just keep in mind, 7pm-7Am XD (sometimes you can even wait out dilo packs hunting you till it’s 7Am and then have a easier/safer fight)
@@da.mombie yup, just the venom, it simply means it’s easier to get stage 3 on your target than it is in day. For example- for teno in day it takes atleast 6-7 body bites, while at night, it’s 2
Salute to you for not only playing with that rubberbanding but also recording. So good Carno duels there, good on you for taking it to the forest except in this case the lag just made things way worse. Dying of thirst/fall damage trying to not die of thirst was both funny and derpy. Can't believe that Stego didn't see you resting in the bushes with your head practically completely visible. Teno killing the Pachy couldn't have been a worse (or better) timed tail swap. Oh and Beipeis are also on my do not kill list...unless they're annoying or I'm starving.
thx mate ♥ yeah, the lags are so annoying right now. it's really frustrating. but honestly, that carno would have beaten me up even without lag yeah, I was pretty mad at myself for falling down there. I knew there is a cliff as I was heading to the top of the waterfall. the water down the fall is saltwater for some weird reason ^^ the stego situation was really lucky tho. I don't even know if it saw and just ignored me (fair play) or if it didn't see me did you hear the bonk before? a few seconds before the teno kills the pachy, it got bonked. it isn't within my cam view, but, you can hear a bonk and a teno hurt sounds. so, they all messed up beipi

wise choice moving on from that large cera. they have pretty good damage resistance when they're on a player body. BUT you can fix that little red wagon by dragging the body after you kill someone. This prevents the defense buff from activating because the body has to be undragged meaning it can't be moved from spot they died in. Thankfully most players play cera as a scavenger which is what it is. If he's got a body he's not interested in you. He's just the janitor. lol If they try to play it as a hunter though.... well they'll learn.

The hype is gone because dilo was rightfully NERFED so that you don't die to hallucinations like 5 minutes after the dilo is even dead. Pre-nerf, a group of more than 3 getting you envenomated meant 100% death unless you can get on a rock. AKA the playerbase is still stuck on rex gameplay. They want to be unbeatable and any time it's 'too hard', you suddenly see a lot of hackers. So people just went back to stego and carno, the two terrestrial kings atm, and back to hacking on them I stopped playing dilo because it felt like controlling a carno, whose movements i also just don't like that much. It's stiff turning etc. The servers being soooo terrible really isn't helping either. I heard there's hacks for smoother gameplay, or maybe the lags happen because of hacks. Who knows. yeah, the nerf plays for sure it's part. the aggro players always switch to the stronger dinos. but, it's also quite a while since they entered the game, so, it's normal people switch to others again. in fact I am happy we reached this point to me dilo is still super fun and probably super strong. it grows quite fast, easily faces an omni in a 1vs1, is able to get away from almost everything incl. carnos (as long as you aren't in the open at least) and I still think it is a proper dino to fight stegos the servers tho are nothing but frustrating. I don't care what is the matter, they shall address it. stop the development of everything else (if needed), but take a look at your server code or provider or whatever is the issue. we are reaching a point where it isn't fun to play anymore thx mate
The servers are horrible now. They haven't been like this since Spiro. Also, in NA servers it seems I can't go 2 minutes without running into dilos. A lot NE but seems to be more East Plains for some reason.
yeah, we reach a point where it isn't fun anymore. if you ask me, then they should even stop the development of the game if needed, but, work on their server issues first
if I wouldn't do the videos, then I would also stop playing. the servers are such a mess and got worse with every recent update. they praised gateway as solution to all the server issues, but, the map doesn't seem to be the problem. it's their messed up game/server code which they really should take a closer look at. polishing is something you do at the end of development. got it. but, they have to address their server problems asap

Omni pounce is hella broken, and doesn't work correctly more often than not. Often times you get stuck in place and don't move with the dino even though you pounced them, other times you fall off when you definitely should've pounced them, other times pounce literally just doesn't function when you click the button to do a pounce. I think out of all the things to play, Omni is pretty close to the worst with the latency.
who says dilo is suffering? dilo is fine in my opinion. omni's pounce is always broken. I can't remember when it wasn't broken one way or the other since you can't pounce from ahead or behind anymore, it's very tough to connect tho. like you said, in this case omni is probably suffering the most from the laggy servers
i bet the reason for all the new lag was from the increased AI that was put into the last update, Ai require more processing power to function than an actual player resulting in these increased lag scenarios.
it might play a part, but, I am afraid the problem is much bigger than that. it started when they switched to unreal engine 5. suddenly many of us experienced little lags every now and then. this every now and then became more frequently with time. when they switched to gateway it was still there. more recently these lags became even worse and kind of changed. before it was like little freezes and now it's more like rubber banding. that rising ping issue is also something which comes and goes since update 5? even 4? in general it feels more like a growing issue than something which came suddenly with the change of AI only. dunno tho
@@da.mombie I was playing Beipi the other day and the rubber banding was so bad you couldn't breach the water properly, it would send you back under. It's sooooo bad.
Wow shocked to see how few dilos you saw! I havn't been able to play for a week or so, so I wasn't sure if we were still overrun with them haha is the migration zone fixed now?
I played teno and stego recently and heard some dilos. but, by far not as much anymore. so, it seems to have normalize a litte the migration zone is still weird. as stego it was 3 hours in the swamp and switched them to an area which is right behind the tunnel. so, right beside the swamp ^^ as teno it did switch more often and to "more" different areas. it was northwest, then nearby the river delta and then at the beach south of the east plains. so, at least three different places
ähm, 90% dilo players in der ersten woche. einen monat später immer noch 30-40% dilos. bei mittlerweile 15 verschiedenen dinos. also wenn das kein hype ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht :/
For the first three Dino’s I loved this game. After the fourth Dino, I realized the community is pretty trash. The epitome of self entitled brats. The servers player owned and filled with new player gate keeping rules. You end up facing people with mods to see better at night, with rules that leave herbivores defense less. The carnivores can line up at night and two step bite you. And if you aren’t modded the heck up, you might as not try a herbivore ever. If you try to play an apex predator, the old jaded entitled community, backed by bad sets of rules to give them no risk. Walk around with groups of rexes hunting down any solo player. Removing the aspect of trying to build a dinosaur that takes more than 2 hours to build. You are left playing short growth Dino’s, who die in 1 bite anyway, to the groups of entitled jaded old players. Lastly the discords allow points, storing of Dino’s and growth of Dino’s, making so long time players can lose a 7 hour Dino like it’s nothing But will be delighted to team up with their buddies to kill a new players 7 hour Dino. I’ve never felt more ripped off of 20$ more in my life, than having spent time with this player base
I don't know on what server you were playing, but, I have a very different experience. you are speaking of rex, so, I guess you played legacy. when I played legacy I played mostly on teutonic and isla nycta. both were rule based and the admins were also fair back then. has been some years tho, so, I don't know how these servers are nowadays. I had mostly good experiences tho. in general, I never met so many friendly people in a PVP game. most PVP games I played are KOS only. the isle on the other hand encourages you to herd or group with others. which results in many friendly encounters. something you could only dream of in games like dayz, ark and so on. those games are ruled by pros (thousands of hour players) and clan players. which act exactly like you mentioned in your comment. like in every PVP game you have some players who don't care about fair play. who play with friends in VC, mixpack or even hack. I don't like that, but, that's PVP. tell me just one PVP game where you don't find those kind of players. I can't remember a single PVP game without them. the isle has no tutorial and a steep learning curve. which is very frustrating at the beginning. it's a game you have to dig into and go through a lot of dirt before you shine. in legacy it was even more challenging to grow dinos. rex and trike were the biggest challenge to grow. many people had no experience but wanted to raise a rex first. which is a bad idea in my opinion. you should get familiar with game first, before you go for the biggest challenge. no experience + biggest challenge has to be a frustrating outcome. I started with dryo and worked my way up the ranks. I still remember how proud I was to have raised my first trike after about 300 hours. just do die in the first battle but why should I have won? I had no idea how to fight properly with trike, 'cause I never fought with an adult trike before. so, it's normal that you die, learn, get better, die again, get better, die again, again, again and at some point you meet somebody who has even less experience and you will win. just to die next time to someone who has 2000 hours in the game. but yeah, these kind of games aren't for everyone. you have to be a special kind of player to enjoy games with permadeath. don't get that wrong, special doesn't mean better or anything. just different. my best friend doesn't like such games at all. he doesn't like to dig deep, he just wants to play. which is fine. but, to blame the community for disliking (or maybe misunderstanding) the nature of the game, is something I can't agree with. the community is split, it's passionate and it has many weirdos as well. but, in general it is a very friendly and welcoming community.
@@da.mombie oh i love survival games. its gate keeping communities and their silly rules i dont enjoy. joining a group as the inexperienced sounds fun and safe. but in practice, you are sitting for 5 hours with 3 or more people whove played together forever, against the carnivores forever. you literally serve as the one that will die for the herd, as they feed their old time carnivore friend. furthermore, you are left to be unable to explore in a group. sit with the group, wait for the group to move, to drink, wait as the group is surrounded by carnivores, til a carnivore eats one and then the group has a break til the carnivores need to eat again. exploring and learning the game is done on your own. try that, and the group will scold you or might as well not group up if youre not gonna stay with the group.
@@trixmtll1393 like I said, I have a very different experience. well, every other survival PVP game I played, like dayz, rust, ark and so on were 99,99% kill on sight. as solo player your base got raided by huge clans. there was no friendly mate at all. maybe one within 200 to 300? in the isle on the other hand, almost 50% of the people are friendly. a ratio I never experienced in any other game so far. if you want to explore, then go on your own. if you don't like a server 'cause the admins/playerbase abuse their power (like you mentioned in the first comment), then play on another server. play on official servers. there are no admins at all. nobody can abuse anything there. well, beside hacker, but you face hacker in every PVP survival game. of course you can run into a bunch of VC friends who don't care about you or are even mixpacker who sacrifice you to their friend. yeah, that's bad. nobody likes that. but again, that is the normal gameplay in every PVP game I played. the difference is, in the isle you meet more friendly people within all the weirdos than in most other PVP games. in fact, I met about 10-20 such groups in almost 3000 hours. that's nothing. not even 100 would be much. in dayz I met 1000 of them in 1000 hours. the arma and star citizen communities are the only ones who are as good (in fact even better) as the isle community. I played more than 100 PVP games since my first CS match about 25 years ago and the isle community is within my top 3. so, I would love to know which games you played and had better experiences?

I wanted a couple of times, but, there were only 10-15 people. I don't get footage with that less people and sadly don't have time to play private only :/
honestly, I can't recommend the game right now. the servers are such a mess and pretty frustrating. lag and rubber banding all over. I would at least wait until the next patch. the stam is fixed, but, it depends on what you mean by that. for traveling it is almost like it ever was again. for fights it didn't change back and probably will never change back. personally I like it better than before. but, those who want to fight only, will think differently, I guess.
@@da.mombie i have a ryzen 5 3600 and gtx 1070. i run olmost all games on max settings except for the isle. just unplayable for me and i have 800 hours in the game..
@@SENPAI.Popaii the older versions of the isle had less good graphics which you can see very well if you compare my videos from today to my first the isle videos. there is a huge difference in my opinion. since they switched to unreal engine 5, the game needs even more resources. the 1070 runs all other games doesn't mean anything. a game like RDR2 has awesome graphics and yet it doesn't need as many resources as the isle. 'cause it's way better polished. about 500 people worked on that game. that's a very different outcome. sry to say, but, I wouldn't expect the isle to ever run properly on a 1070 again. I have the 3080 and the game runs pretty smooth. I guess, a 3070 should do the job, too. or any AMD card on a similar level of course

@@SENPAI.Popaii the rtx 3000 series includes different classes from the 3050 (low end) to the 3090 (high end). which are like day and night. the 3050 can't even run a game properly in 4k. the 3090 easily runs two 4k screens at once if you want. the 3050 costs about 250 bucks, the 3090 costs about 1700 bucks. that said, the 90 is designed for companies who use it to work. I bought the 80 'cause I also record and use it for the editing. for games only the 70 performs very well, too. you have a 70, but, it's 8 years old. if you aren't too much in hurry, then I would wait till the end of the year. the 5000 series will be pretty likely released and at that point the 4000 and 3000 series should become cheaper and there will also be many cards on private sales.
@@QweezyRhino sry for confusing you. they had an old road map. on this road map you saw, nesting in update 5, gore in 6, night vision in 6.5 and so on. well, gateway was 7 and since then they have changed the road map. it shows what will come in the next phase, but everything on this list will be released as soon as it is ready and so I don't know the numbers anymore welcome to the isle

I played the mod in arma 2 before and the standalone between 2013-15 or so. well, within those two years they didn't manage to get rid of the ladder bug so yeah, if you are a dayz player, then no bug will ever stop you 23k? jeez mate. that's more than me favourite dayz content creator. therunningmanz I love bohemia for their arma series. I played flashpoint. the first arma ever and it was a game changer. but, in terms of dayz and the alpha access phase it was brutal. such an experienced studio and they didn't care at all well, in fact that modder Dean messed it up first. to me the isle is a little like dayz. my problem is my age. I can't play shooter anymore. my aim and much more reaction time got sooo bad. way too bad to be fun anymore. I am mostly dead before I even spot the enemy nowadays. so, the isle fits quite well. aim and reaction time are not as important as in a shooter. so, it fits better, gives similar vibes as dayz and has a more friendly/merciful (ingame) playerbase. anyway, both games are driven by the interaction with others
official EU, but, the ping is at about 100 now. there was a short period of time where it showed that low ping on the officials. it didn't feel any different tho. the opposite, at that time these terrible little lags were still around ^^
@@da.mombie Not really. Huntress-s hatchet hits can be very generous, but it's the hitboxes fault, in general. A lot of other killers have the same issues as well. Have a great day.
@@patrikresz2706 I don't know how it is recently, but, back in my days it wasn't just the hitbox. I often was 2-3 meter (sometimes even more) around the corner and yet I got downed. that's far beyond a big hitbox. DBD had a huge lag problem as well. 'cause of the nature of the game it didn't feel as bad as if you were playing a shooter with the same amount of lag, but, you could still feel it quite often. specially with huntres hatchets, but also while vaulting a window and the normal M1 attack. I once vaulted out of the shack window, turned left, passed the corner and yet I got hit. after PASSING the corner. with regular M1

I am totally out of the game meanwhile. most perks have changed and I don't even know many killers 'cause I don't even watch content anymore. just a spookyloopz video every now and then. but, I have 3.000 hours in DBD. so, I played and saw quite a lot. the game was always broken. specially if you keep in mind how much money they earn with their skins only. it often felt like the skins are more important than the actual gameplay. no matter if maps with invisible "walls" around many corners, totally unbalanced perks, totally unfair matchmaking (well, I played before SKMM) and many other stuff. I still think dilo is the perfect stego hunter. it's so fast and agile. it's pretty weak vs teno in my opinion. I failed vs that carno, so, I can't say how strong they are vs carnos. 'cause I did poorly :/

I don't even blame the devs too much. they are a little studio with no experience at all. it's their first game. they have good ideas and a lot of passion. but, they lack of experience and as far as I know is multiplayer (server codes) the most difficult when it comes to games development. I mean, even rockstar struggles a lot and their online versions are really bad compared to their single player games. still, it is really annoying right now and I hope this will be an issue which they put right on the top of their list
im not pointing straight at the devs. more a overall on the game makers. the make content and have a fision. in this case of the isle a wonderfull one with amazing ideas. only devs(game makers) need to stand also up against server cost etc. they works years and years on something. but the maintence and cost of servers are nuts. but enough complaining i hope it will get better. further more keep up this amazing videos. gives a smile and like the emo`s@@da.mombie
Play on inofficials.... my server costs me 80€ in month with great hardware and all play on the shittý officials.... its your fault when you play on such servers XD
well, I played on petits server and it has the same issues. which is normal, 'cause the server code is messed up. so, it has nothing to do with private or official. it isn't about the host, it's about the server code and you use the same code like the officials. 'cause you don't write or change the code, you just host it

Also, I think what would be cool is if the isle had a Herding System that kinda fits with the migration system, basically when a herbivore species migrates and they meet up at the zone, they can group up but if the group exceeds 2 people it becomes a herd, then they can basically establish a herd leader and such. I think is a good idea what about you :)

wise choice moving on from that large cera. they have pretty good damage resistance when they're on a player body. BUT you can fix that little red wagon by dragging the body after you kill someone. This prevents the defense buff from activating because the body has to be undragged meaning it can't be moved from spot they died in.
Thankfully most players play cera as a scavenger which is what it is. If he's got a body he's not interested in you. He's just the janitor. lol
If they try to play it as a hunter though.... well they'll learn.

The hype is gone because dilo was rightfully NERFED so that you don't die to hallucinations like 5 minutes after the dilo is even dead. Pre-nerf, a group of more than 3 getting you envenomated meant 100% death unless you can get on a rock.
AKA the playerbase is still stuck on rex gameplay. They want to be unbeatable and any time it's 'too hard', you suddenly see a lot of hackers. So people just went back to stego and carno, the two terrestrial kings atm, and back to hacking on them
I stopped playing dilo because it felt like controlling a carno, whose movements i also just don't like that much. It's stiff turning etc. The servers being soooo terrible really isn't helping either. I heard there's hacks for smoother gameplay, or maybe the lags happen because of hacks. Who knows.

yeah, the nerf plays for sure it's part. the aggro players always switch to the stronger dinos. but, it's also quite a while since they entered the game, so, it's normal people switch to others again. in fact I am happy we reached this point
to me dilo is still super fun and probably super strong. it grows quite fast, easily faces an omni in a 1vs1, is able to get away from almost everything incl. carnos (as long as you aren't in the open at least) and I still think it is a proper dino to fight stegos
the servers tho are nothing but frustrating. I don't care what is the matter, they shall address it. stop the development of everything else (if needed), but take a look at your server code or provider or whatever is the issue. we are reaching a point where it isn't fun to play anymore

The servers are horrible now. They haven't been like this since Spiro. Also, in NA servers it seems I can't go 2 minutes without running into dilos. A lot NE but seems to be more East Plains for some reason.

if I wouldn't do the videos, then I would also stop playing. the servers are such a mess and got worse with every recent update. they praised gateway as solution to all the server issues, but, the map doesn't seem to be the problem. it's their messed up game/server code which they really should take a closer look at. polishing is something you do at the end of development. got it. but, they have to address their server problems asap
I think the server lag is connected to the hackers/cheaters, they screw with the servers sync

Omni pounce is hella broken, and doesn't work correctly more often than not. Often times you get stuck in place and don't move with the dino even though you pounced them, other times you fall off when you definitely should've pounced them, other times pounce literally just doesn't function when you click the button to do a pounce.
I think out of all the things to play, Omni is pretty close to the worst with the latency.
who says dilo is suffering? dilo is fine in my opinion. omni's pounce is always broken. I can't remember when it wasn't broken one way or the other since you can't pounce from ahead or behind anymore, it's very tough to connect tho. like you said, in this case omni is probably suffering the most from the laggy servers
i bet the reason for all the new lag was from the increased AI that was put into the last update, Ai require more processing power to function than an actual player resulting in these increased lag scenarios.
it might play a part, but, I am afraid the problem is much bigger than that. it started when they switched to unreal engine 5. suddenly many of us experienced little lags every now and then. this every now and then became more frequently with time. when they switched to gateway it was still there. more recently these lags became even worse and kind of changed. before it was like little freezes and now it's more like rubber banding.
that rising ping issue is also something which comes and goes since update 5? even 4? in general it feels more like a growing issue than something which came suddenly with the change of AI only. dunno tho
@@da.mombie I was playing Beipi the other day and the rubber banding was so bad you couldn't breach the water properly, it would send you back under. It's sooooo bad.

Wow shocked to see how few dilos you saw! I havn't been able to play for a week or so, so I wasn't sure if we were still overrun with them haha is the migration zone fixed now?
I played teno and stego recently and heard some dilos. but, by far not as much anymore. so, it seems to have normalize a litte the migration zone is still weird. as stego it was 3 hours in the swamp and switched them to an area which is right behind the tunnel. so, right beside the swamp ^^ as teno it did switch more often and to "more" different areas. it was northwest, then nearby the river delta and then at the beach south of the east plains. so, at least three different places

For the first three Dino’s I loved this game.
After the fourth Dino, I realized the community is pretty trash.
The epitome of self entitled brats.
The servers player owned and filled with new player gate keeping rules.
You end up facing people with mods to see better at night, with rules that leave herbivores defense less.
The carnivores can line up at night and two step bite you. And if you aren’t modded the heck up, you might as not try a herbivore ever.
If you try to play an apex predator, the old jaded entitled community, backed by bad sets of rules to give them no risk.
Walk around with groups of rexes hunting down any solo player.
Removing the aspect of trying to build a dinosaur that takes more than 2 hours to build.
You are left playing short growth Dino’s, who die in 1 bite anyway, to the groups of entitled jaded old players.
Lastly the discords allow points, storing of Dino’s and growth of Dino’s, making so long time players can lose a 7 hour Dino like it’s nothing
But will be delighted to team up with their buddies to kill a new players 7 hour Dino.
I’ve never felt more ripped off of 20$ more in my life, than having spent time with this player base
I don't know on what server you were playing, but, I have a very different experience. you are speaking of rex, so, I guess you played legacy. when I played legacy I played mostly on teutonic and isla nycta. both were rule based and the admins were also fair back then. has been some years tho, so, I don't know how these servers are nowadays. I had mostly good experiences tho.
in general, I never met so many friendly people in a PVP game. most PVP games I played are KOS only. the isle on the other hand encourages you to herd or group with others. which results in many friendly encounters. something you could only dream of in games like dayz, ark and so on. those games are ruled by pros (thousands of hour players) and clan players. which act exactly like you mentioned in your comment.
like in every PVP game you have some players who don't care about fair play. who play with friends in VC, mixpack or even hack. I don't like that, but, that's PVP. tell me just one PVP game where you don't find those kind of players. I can't remember a single PVP game without them.
the isle has no tutorial and a steep learning curve. which is very frustrating at the beginning. it's a game you have to dig into and go through a lot of dirt before you shine. in legacy it was even more challenging to grow dinos. rex and trike were the biggest challenge to grow. many people had no experience but wanted to raise a rex first. which is a bad idea in my opinion. you should get familiar with game first, before you go for the biggest challenge. no experience + biggest challenge has to be a frustrating outcome.
I started with dryo and worked my way up the ranks. I still remember how proud I was to have raised my first trike after about 300 hours. just do die in the first battle but why should I have won? I had no idea how to fight properly with trike, 'cause I never fought with an adult trike before. so, it's normal that you die, learn, get better, die again, get better, die again, again, again and at some point you meet somebody who has even less experience and you will win. just to die next time to someone who has 2000 hours in the game.
but yeah, these kind of games aren't for everyone. you have to be a special kind of player to enjoy games with permadeath. don't get that wrong, special doesn't mean better or anything. just different. my best friend doesn't like such games at all. he doesn't like to dig deep, he just wants to play. which is fine. but, to blame the community for disliking (or maybe misunderstanding) the nature of the game, is something I can't agree with. the community is split, it's passionate and it has many weirdos as well. but, in general it is a very friendly and welcoming community.

joining a group as the inexperienced sounds fun and safe.
but in practice, you are sitting for 5 hours with 3 or more people whove played together forever, against the carnivores forever.
you literally serve as the one that will die for the herd, as they feed their old time carnivore friend.
furthermore, you are left to be unable to explore in a group.
sit with the group, wait for the group to move, to drink, wait as the group is surrounded by carnivores, til a carnivore eats one and then the group has a break til the carnivores need to eat again.
exploring and learning the game is done on your own.
try that, and the group will scold you or might as well not group up if youre not gonna stay with the group.
@@trixmtll1393 like I said, I have a very different experience. well, every other survival PVP game I played, like dayz, rust, ark and so on were 99,99% kill on sight. as solo player your base got raided by huge clans. there was no friendly mate at all. maybe one within 200 to 300? in the isle on the other hand, almost 50% of the people are friendly. a ratio I never experienced in any other game so far.
if you want to explore, then go on your own. if you don't like a server 'cause the admins/playerbase abuse their power (like you mentioned in the first comment), then play on another server. play on official servers. there are no admins at all. nobody can abuse anything there. well, beside hacker, but you face hacker in every PVP survival game.
of course you can run into a bunch of VC friends who don't care about you or are even mixpacker who sacrifice you to their friend. yeah, that's bad. nobody likes that. but again, that is the normal gameplay in every PVP game I played. the difference is, in the isle you meet more friendly people within all the weirdos than in most other PVP games. in fact, I met about 10-20 such groups in almost 3000 hours. that's nothing. not even 100 would be much. in dayz I met 1000 of them in 1000 hours.
the arma and star citizen communities are the only ones who are as good (in fact even better) as the isle community. I played more than 100 PVP games since my first CS match about 25 years ago and the isle community is within my top 3. so, I would love to know which games you played and had better experiences?

honestly, I can't recommend the game right now. the servers are such a mess and pretty frustrating. lag and rubber banding all over. I would at least wait until the next patch. the stam is fixed, but, it depends on what you mean by that. for traveling it is almost like it ever was again. for fights it didn't change back and probably will never change back. personally I like it better than before. but, those who want to fight only, will think differently, I guess.

@@SENPAI.Popaii the older versions of the isle had less good graphics which you can see very well if you compare my videos from today to my first the isle videos. there is a huge difference in my opinion. since they switched to unreal engine 5, the game needs even more resources.
the 1070 runs all other games doesn't mean anything. a game like RDR2 has awesome graphics and yet it doesn't need as many resources as the isle. 'cause it's way better polished. about 500 people worked on that game. that's a very different outcome.
sry to say, but, I wouldn't expect the isle to ever run properly on a 1070 again.
I have the 3080 and the game runs pretty smooth. I guess, a 3070 should do the job, too. or any AMD card on a similar level of course

@@SENPAI.Popaii the rtx 3000 series includes different classes from the 3050 (low end) to the 3090 (high end). which are like day and night. the 3050 can't even run a game properly in 4k. the 3090 easily runs two 4k screens at once if you want.
the 3050 costs about 250 bucks, the 3090 costs about 1700 bucks.
that said, the 90 is designed for companies who use it to work. I bought the 80 'cause I also record and use it for the editing.
for games only the 70 performs very well, too. you have a 70, but, it's 8 years old. if you aren't too much in hurry, then I would wait till the end of the year. the 5000 series will be pretty likely released and at that point the 4000 and 3000 series should become cheaper and there will also be many cards on private sales.

@@QweezyRhino sry for confusing you. they had an old road map. on this road map you saw, nesting in update 5, gore in 6, night vision in 6.5 and so on. well, gateway was 7 and since then they have changed the road map. it shows what will come in the next phase, but everything on this list will be released as soon as it is ready and so I don't know the numbers anymore

I love bohemia for their arma series. I played flashpoint. the first arma ever and it was a game changer. but, in terms of dayz and the alpha access phase it was brutal. such an experienced studio and they didn't care at all well, in fact that modder Dean messed it up first.
to me the isle is a little like dayz. my problem is my age. I can't play shooter anymore. my aim and much more reaction time got sooo bad. way too bad to be fun anymore. I am mostly dead before I even spot the enemy nowadays. so, the isle fits quite well. aim and reaction time are not as important as in a shooter. so, it fits better, gives similar vibes as dayz and has a more friendly/merciful (ingame) playerbase. anyway, both games are driven by the interaction with others

official EU, but, the ping is at about 100 now. there was a short period of time where it showed that low ping on the officials. it didn't feel any different tho. the opposite, at that time these terrible little lags were still around ^^

@@da.mombie Not really. Huntress-s hatchet hits can be very generous, but it's the hitboxes fault, in general. A lot of other killers have the same issues as well. Have a great day.

I often was 2-3 meter (sometimes even more) around the corner and yet I got downed. that's far beyond a big hitbox. DBD had a huge lag problem as well. 'cause of the nature of the game it didn't feel as bad as if you were playing a shooter with the same amount of lag, but, you could still feel it quite often. specially with huntres hatchets, but also while vaulting a window and the normal M1 attack. I once vaulted out of the shack window, turned left, passed the corner and yet I got hit. after PASSING the corner. with regular M1

the game was always broken. specially if you keep in mind how much money they earn with their skins only. it often felt like the skins are more important than the actual gameplay. no matter if maps with invisible "walls" around many corners, totally unbalanced perks, totally unfair matchmaking (well, I played before SKMM) and many other stuff. I love DBD, but, it's a broken game with horrible devs who have no idea how their own game works

I still think dilo is the perfect stego hunter. it's so fast and agile. it's pretty weak vs teno in my opinion. I failed vs that carno, so, I can't say how strong they are vs carnos. 'cause I did poorly :/

thx mate ♥ I totally understand you. the game is great, but, the game code is terrible. I don't even blame the devs too much. they are a little studio with no experience at all. it's their first game. they have good ideas and a lot of passion. but, they lack of experience and as far as I know is multiplayer (server codes) the most difficult when it comes to games development. I mean, even rockstar struggles a lot and their online versions are really bad compared to their single player games. still, it is really annoying right now and I hope this will be an issue which they put right on the top of their list

well, I played on petits server and it has the same issues. which is normal, 'cause the server code is messed up. so, it has nothing to do with private or official. it isn't about the host, it's about the server code and you use the same code like the officials. 'cause you don't write or change the code, you just host it

Also, I think what would be cool is if the isle had a Herding System that kinda fits with the migration system, basically when a herbivore species migrates and they meet up at the zone, they can group up but if the group exceeds 2 people it becomes a herd, then they can basically establish a herd leader and such.
