I love your lessons, both for the content and the love with which it is delivered. As for reptiles, gator tail isn't bad.

Thank you both for another great lesson. By the way an interesting oddity with the sound this time. It was almost as if you used 2 microphones and the sound couldn't decide which way to go.😊

All foods are made clean….but, what did they consider “food?” My understanding was that animals that were not allowed, (such as swine) were not considered food at all, and so remain. What are your thoughts?

Mark 7:18, 19 makes this pretty clear. If you can eat it, it is clean. Not sure where the problem with pork comes up for Christians, but I would say - clean food! Especially bacon!

@@mhoward1138 so, bacon is clean food?

@@mhoward1138 further up in Mark 7, it’s talking about the washing of hands and pots/utensils, isn’t it? That unwashed hands, pots, and utensils won’t defile your body? Not trying to argue, but understand.

Mr. Howard when you’re preparing for lesson 13 on praying in the teachers book Page 146 right hand column second paragraph. It talks about scholars believing that Barnabas and this Mary are brother and sister. We know. from verse 12 she was definitely Mark’s mother. Colossians 4:10 says that Barnabas and Mark were cousins. What are your thoughts on this?

Hi Wayne. Here is what I have found so far: Watch this starting at 8:40 - th-cam.com/video/sk769eHMoBc/w-d-xo.html. Since they are called cousins in Colossians, I would assume that Barnabas's Mother or Father was Mary's sibling. The Greek says "sister's son". That is normally translated "cousin", but could refer to Barnabas's sister's son Mark. Sorry I can't help more.
