I agree with some of the others-if you’re exfoliating every day, you’re probably overdoing it and your skin is freaking out a bit. Try dropping the exfoliation and soothe your skin with some Tatcha Indigo cream, see if that balances things back out. ❤
Allie, perhaps your skin was/is freaking out because of using BHA too often. Exfoliant should be not more than 3x/week, or else your skin barrier is compromised and thus sensitized.

That About Face foundation is one of my absolute favorites. It actually looks better on my face as the day goes on, which for a mature, oily skin gal like myself is positively amazing. It's not necessarily touted as "long-wearing" but it continues to look good on me for a good 8-10 hours before finally starting to break down in my most oily areas.
I head somewhere that it’s called The Performer because Halsey wanted to create a foundation that lasts while performing on stage, but still looks natural. So maybe it was made to be a long wear formula? I agree with you though, it actually looks better as you wear it through the day.
I have always watched your videos in English for several years, with you I have learned a lot about makeup, beauty and ENGLISH. The thrive mascara is so much better imo! The tarte one flakes and doesn’t remove as easily for me. I hate that thrive is only available online though :/
No matter what I try I end up going back to Thrive. The Tarte one is terrible to remove, as most other tubing mascaras are. The Thrive Mascara is the ONLY tubing mascara that checks all the boxes for me including being SO easy to remove
Love all the colors of your lipstick. Have you ever thought of breaking the colors down to the 4 seasons…Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter?
I bought the Dae shampoo last year and love it. When I went to Sephora to buy some travel size makeup products I saw the Dae dry shampoo so I purchased it as well - loved the smell and the natural feel of it.

the tarte mascara has been around for a long time, I have used it and its my #1. They recently released the brown shade. I did not like the thrive one. They are similar but imo not dupes

The audio translation is craaazy! Your voice sounds so familiar in German. Some things sound contrived, e.x. they translate „skin tint“ literally but we actually also say skin tint, I bet it’ll get better- it’s already so good
I don’t think they sound similar at all. 🤔😅 I was very confused hearing her talk in German. I immediately changed the settings to the original audio track. I hate when they put a German audio track above the original audio, e.g. at arte. I think you know what I mean. 😅 Do you prefer to watch her videos with the German audio track, now? 🤔😊

Does anyone know how to switch it back to English- also the title of the video is translated. Hate this. I’m bilingual, don’t want nor need translations. Seriously this would be a reason to unsubscribe as it seems to happen with bigger creators only. AWFUL!!!!

The about face foundation is like my holy grail everyday foundation ❤ I have really dry skin though and only lightly powder the t-zone. I imagine someone more oily might need to use more powder. Really wanna try that concealer!
Do you use a primer - if so which one? And what powder do you use - I have been enjoying the about face and have dry skin as well but struggle with the stay power !
@@oliviamuro4612 I just use the Elf halo glow once my spf and stuff sets in a bit. The powder I use is the wet n wild loose powder with the Elf pink powder puff and press it in lightly in my t zone. I haven't worn it past around 8 hrs tho, so can't speak for past that!

I really like the Tarte tubing mascara. I think it's probably one of my favourites. Hadn't tried a tubing one before that and I prefer a rubber wand.
The physicians formula foundation you are talking about was the Healthy Foundation, my absolute favorite foundation in LN3. For the longest time I couldn’t find another foundation that matched and felt good on my skin. I was heartbroken when they discontinued it. Luckily, I found the NARS light reflecting worked just as good. So I’m content, but I’d switch back in a heartbeat if they brought it back.
Allie! I have this foundation and love it. We're usually the same shades. Try LN1. The fair neutral shade works too but was a bit pale for my liking.
I love the tarte mascara! I've been using it in black but have been wanting to try the brown! I personally like the tarte one more than thrive!
And for what it's worth, on camera the shades of foundation and concealer you used look really good on you.
I also have the concealer and love it. It’s the same wand as the Natasha concealer. I did think it was a little thin though but if set right away it’s beautiful. 💓

Also, the niacinamide in the fenty stuff triggers a histamine response on me if used directly after the exfoliation. 🤷♀️
The peace out redness & clarifying spray is wonderful & feels great!
But for people that have breakouts... this review is the best. Please know that we prefer reviews when the skin isn't the best x
The dae styling cream is amazing, I get the normal size and put it in my hair while it's still damp before air drying, and again before heat styling. It makes my hair so shiny

I didn't try the about face foundation for a long time because I couldn't find the right shade for my light fair skin. My sister finally told me the one to get and it was absolutely perfect. I don't have olive skin, but the perfect shade for my light for skin is f2 olive. Not too cool, not too warm. Maybe that would be a good color for you?

The first couple of times I used the Naturium BHA exfoliant I broke out but has since been fine. I use once a week.

Allie, I also had little bumps appear under my skin on my chin area after trying the oil sucker primer. They healed before popping out of the skin, so I wondered if it was some sort of allergic reaction. 🤔

Wow, that Natasha Denona palette is gorgeous! Like others have said, you might want to stop using the exfoliation toner, I had the exact experience and it cleared up quickly after I stopped. Good luck!

Love, love your videos! Foundation looks fantastic. Not a fan of upper lip lack of definition however.....I prefer the natural indentation of the lips to not be drawn straight across. But hey!...to each their own and what THEY prefer:) That is the fun of makeup!

I feel like the maybelline sky high mascara is the same as thrive except it’s not tubing but the brush is the same I believe and it gives the same look IMO

Omg yes, the display for the About Face foundation is so bright and distracting. I was in Ulta yesterday looking at it and the neon light they had lit up over the foundations was so distracting and made it hard to see what shade would work for me. I just passed on it for that reason. They need to fix that.

It’s not the primer, it’s the 2% BHA you are using as if it was a calming toner. Korean skin care is where you need to be looking to soothe your skim, Heartleaf, Cica, etc

I really disliked the Tarte tubing mascara. It flaked on my face and was so difficult to remove it didn’t remove like a tubing mascara, it smeared all over my face and was hard to clean off. I ended up throwing away the almost full tube.

That happens when I watch a Nikki LA Rose, which comes in Spanish. Don't know why. Just go to the upper right corner and click cc, options come up and switch to English

The German translation of this video showed the subtitles of a completely different video… your top 10 of skin tints… such a weird glitch. Noticed it when the subtitles had you say the second place was Lisa Eldridge, but how could this happen?! You were putting on lip products at that point in the video. So weird.. just wanted to alert you of this glitch,
I really want to watch your videos but I can’t because of the language audio is very annoying. I watch videos in multiple languages but I like them in their original language. Does anyone knows how to fix it.? I’ve tried multiple ways but it doesn’t work and it only happens with a couple channels.
You should just be able to change the audio track to English! ❤️
