A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Everything from the design, mobility, and voice of the plant was perfect! Seymore was great too but whoever operated that plant deserves an award
If you want a better performance from this Seymour (Who’s name is Josh Lamon), I suggest the American Musical Theatre of San Jose’s Production of Little Shop of Horrors, he really killed it in this song, especially at this part right here in that version 3:26
THis is the best one i've seen. The others don't time the plant's mouth right and the voices don't harmonize to me but this one was just perfect.I especially like Seymour's voice.
I️ loved that his legs were in the vine things and the puppet was amazing! Moving around like that so much must have shed off a few pounds during the whole process ;) 😂
You're consistent! Bill Remington was also the "STAR" of the LSoH revival on Broadway!! ( Told me I'm his favorite....) SHHHHH....let's keep this to ourselves... ;)
The head of an audrey 2 like that one isn't very heavy its made of a lightweight foam and frame that can be manipulated quite easily the tricky part is to get the movements to sync with the voice actor
Both your and Seymour's vocals were startlingly good! Especially after Orin and Audrey's dialogue, (which just so happens to be my favorite part.) Incredible work.
The puppeteer also puppeteered Audrey II in the 2003 Broadway Revival. The puppet is designed by some of the people for the National Tour. The voice was done by someone coached by the guy who performed Audrey II's voice for the movie. (RIP to both, Maxx Mann and Levi Stubbs.)
Fan-Tas-Tic. One of the best "Feed Me" versions I have seen here on YT. Vocals were great all around on this one. No complaints. Extra thumbs up to Mr. Mann for his performance of Audrey II. This part definitely calls for someone with a solid soulful voice and you nailed it. BTW, was this a tour production? local theatre?
My favorite musical, and my favorite song from it. The 1986 movie was really good. Now I'm excited because there is conformation of a REMAKE happening. Can't wait!!!!! FEED ME!!!
I saw an English Production when my family lived in Japan. The actor they had for Seymore still had a rather similar dorky resemblance to Rick Moranis.
Your voice is SENSATIONAL! And the puppeteer's work is just incredible. The two of you make a fantastic team. This looks like it was an awesome production.
Really good. I will be Audrey 2 in the theatre in July in Peru. I am watching some videos and learn more about Audrey 2 and her voice. I do not have a strong voice but, I can try, so I think that your video can help me with my presentation. Thank you!
In the time I'm watching this, I'm studying up for when I do Audrey II's voice for my school play. Wish me luck, internet! Edit: Stupid virus... I never got to perform...
That was perfect! One of the best versions I have ever seen! Having seen the videos from the guys who made Audrey 2 I have nothing but admiration for the puppeteer, just knowing his legs are the tentacles and what he must be going through in that puppet, wow!
Ironically, the puppeteer is Bill Remington, who also puppeteered Audrey II in the Broadway revival. Not just that, but the puppet is made by Monkey Boys Productions. The puppet company founded by some of the people who helped worked on the Broadway puppets. It’s also designed after it as well.
this is by far the best performance of Feed Me I have ever watched (besides the movie of course) good work! the puppet was great and the voice was just like the real audrey II! :)

The puppet itself I believe is a rental from Monkey Boys Productions.

Currently on Broadway in Finding Neverland!

I loved how the puppeteer was so energetic when it came to Twoeys movements!
One of the best renditions of this song I have seen--- both Audrey II and Seymour! And the plant design is fabulous.

Ryan Hardy thinking the same thing. About to do this in my play in a few hours and I'm sore as fuck and am barely moving like this.

It's not gonna be as good. they're gonna use CGI for the plant and it's not gonna look as good as puppetry.
CGI will never top the original puppet in terms of looking real, but I still have hopes for the other parts of the movie being good
