"When robins appear, loved ones are near' - alludes to the belief that the robin is a messenger. When robins are seen, some people take comfort that loved ones are at peace, and many believe that their lost loved ones are visiting them.
This is beautiful, thank you for that❤
Lol the part where she said she can’t find her watering can.. while it was behind her in the video was pretty funny
Emma, my first comment but I don’t think you’ve made a video that I haven’t watched. I think every allotment should have an “Emma”. You are just such a joy. Your personality is a tonic … Jessie on plot 37 put a net over her pond to catch the leaves … if it helps. Keep being you, in all your girly glory ❤
Maybe put your compost container over that hole? Possibly, if it would fit, the pallet used as a door to your compost bins. ( if you could cut the one side off). Or as a deck/landing to your shed door? Love your humor as you approach problems/jobs on your allotment!
Glad to hear that you’re feeling better and yes you’re definitely going to have an amazing plot when spring arrives!! Thanks for sharing your experience in the garden 🌳🌱🪴
Put your compost bin over the hole then fill it with leaves .and yse the net over your pond
You're using an iron rake (for leveling soil). You need a leaf rake. You'll find it will rake up leaves much better especially in the mulch paths.! Don't get a hard plastic one get one with metal tines.
Great to see you planting in your new plot. I always get jealous when you talk about your seed subscription, nothing like that in Ireland (yet).
Glad you are feeling better I missed you
Use a leaf rake! The garden rake works, but it's just not efficient. I HAVE A POND UNDER A PECAN TREE! I know your pond pain! Loving you from Oklahoma, USA
I always see her doing jobs the hard way without the tools I think she is working harder this way.. but then I noticed if she went and bought every tool I have thought she “needed” she would be down thousands of dollars.. and she usually makes it work in the end.. it ends up making me feel like I waste a ton of money having the right tool for each job and that’s why I can’t even walk in my shed lol
@@bitchywoman that's a good point! She's a corker!
Why not put a net over your pond just for the autumn, then you can just empty it into your bin
I ám excited! Yeeh, garlic! I’m putting mine in tomorrow. Feel better!
Sorry to hear you've been unwell. Hope you're feeling much better soon.
Yes! Please work with it! Your tree is precious, preciouzzzz :)
I have 20 budgies they are so adorable, clever and loving. I have an outdoor aviary.
Hey emma great vlog,
Maybe with the pond and leaf issues, use some netting and the blue pipes and make a structure over toure pond x
Get well soon Emma.
Love to listen to you and watch you,so funny you are.
I can understand how you feel when you are missing days.
I'm the same.
Because of you and your inspiration,I am taking on a second plot.
I'm so excited Emma, just as you were.
Can't wait to see you next week.
😁Xx
your plot is going to look amazing in spring , just look at all the extra light you have now its insane super exciting
Lovely little update Emma and glad you’re feeling better. Xx
Well done, especially when you dont feel well 🙂
Robins are actually really territorial, so hes sharing his home with you and letting u know 😅❤ love seeing him in your videos, well done on all the progress, im passing the 1yr mark at my allotment and me and mum love your videos 😊x
wondered where you was hiding , hope your perking up get well soon
The big tree in the middle could be Hazel, we have a few in our garden and they look very similar! The leaves absolutely smother our garden and all go in our pond. I put a large net over the pond to cover from the leaves otherwise they just take over!
Glad you are feeling better I love your blog
Emma you should stop putting yourself down you are doing a great job
If you get some accellerant to put in your composter it will help to rot down quicker . It will warm up and cook it all if you cover the top and also the worms will be busy too 😊
allium leaf minor - I have to cover all onions, garlic, leeks etc from planting to harvest.
Hi Emma l hope your on the mend and your garlic will be ok ,you have done a fantastic job on the new allotment so thank you for the catch and l will see you soon 🎉🎉🎉😊
I so enjoyed watching your video! I actually laughed out loud when you were talking about being an accomplish to a serial killer 🤣 glad you are feeling better and able to get to the allotment a bit. I do get anxious when I let garden tasks go but I try to remind myself I do this for enjoyment and to go easy-it's not like I can ever complete all the jobs!
maybe too late but you could use the chunks of wood if you have no use to start filling that hole. Thats if you didnt want to dig there ir right next to it.
You need to put a net over your pond for the leaves. Also use labels to know what you have planted and where you’ve planted it. Great video as always x
Glad you're on the mend, get some onion sets in the other bit of bed 🥰
Love your videos you’re so adorable xx
You need a big tree diaper to catch those leaves 😂😂😂
'Catch 'im Derry' 😂😂
Emma, remember to label everything. Believe me, you are sure you will remember, but you don't. Great video
Need to get a net over the pond it save a lot of work
Was the watering can not right behind you as you were saying you couldn’t find it? The one by the shed?
If you can borrow a garden vac from someone it will make gathering leaves childs play
Mine chops the leaves as well as sucking them up
Hello Emma, What is the large plastic container that looks like a lamp shade you put the raked leaves into?
Looks like a compost bin to me. ?
Commonly known as Dalek compost bins because of the shape.
I’ve seen that the garlic needs to peep out the top of the soil? Just the tip xx
Great vid mate. I always thought leaf mulch took 3 years for some reason?
Isn't that leaf mould?
@@rebabs that could be my confusion lol
It may be better for you to either to coppice or pollard those trees
Allium leaf miner: put net over your garlic
I put those garlics from seedcraft in 2 weeks ago but still don’t see any shoots. 🤷
They need a hard frost to set them off, shoots will appear around late Jan early Feb - just sit back and relax! Good luck!
Robins are extremely sociable. Have been meaning to ask you - why did you call the Robin Einstein?
Albert was already taken.
Word of advice....plant the garlic a bit deeper. Feel better soon
I don't think it's a Cherry Tree, looks like Silver Birch to me
Glad you are feeling better I have missed you
Fantastisch Good work Emma's good work you the best thans te vlog grootjes ❤🍂☕👍✔️🔥🧤🧣🤗💐
